  1. Agree with this Terry, although this spot is better in the morning opposed to the afternoon as the sun is over the ocean and you dont get the shadows from nearby buildings... but they turned out ok after all.. pretty happy with them
  2. got some half decent pics of my car today.. the sun was going down quick though and waas fighting to avoid shadows.. not too bad though Cheers
  3. Hello, Thought i would share some of the pics from the detail on my car done by fellow SAU'er Eugene aka JDMPerformance, some really good shots, the car turned out perfect... anyways will let the pics do the talking. paint measurements, always nice to get confirmation of original paint! some before and afters... and the finished product! hope you guys enjoyed the pics, Cheers, Anthony
  4. Hey Jarrad, can throw this in with negotiations, may help pending a good deal haha!
  5. And my friends/family think im being over cautious/stupid because i really dont like leaving my car unattended in public... I think im being the right amount of cautious really!
  6. Pics are good mate, although i will have to retract my previous interest in these.. the nismo logo will not match the rest of the nismo logos in my car so its not what i would be looking for unfortunately, maybe pen in krayzie32 for the pedals if a swap isnt arranged. Sorry for the confusion mate, goodluck and thanks.
  7. Looking good mate, well done!! I was thinking of posting up some pics of the detail on my car, got some good before and afters, although I cannot take credit for any of the work ha..
  8. Sounds good mate. Cheers!
  9. Hey mate, I could be interested in your Nismo set if you find some stock pedals to buy, unfortunately will be wanting to keep the original ones so can't offer a trade deal though. Goodluck mate
  10. Yep I will probably be in on this...
  11. If the scratches are really bad, I would respray... Your always going to notice the touch ups and for 600 bucks I would think your getting very close to a respray cost anyways... Just depends on how much prep work they have to do on the bar really.. These guys charge by the hour, paint costs are relitevly small really...
  12. Can't remember if the 32 was for sale or not.,, Nah wouldn't have been me on the f3.. Haven't driven the car all week.. Was it a yellow gtr? Don't know of many others?.,,
  13. ahh i thought that would have sold quick when it came up ages ago, especially for that price (i believe the previous owner that bought it for my car paid in the relams of 6-7k for it! brand new though), but before i posted i checked the website and it didnt say sold, therfore i mentioned it.. sorry for the mis-information mate.. and best of luck with your search! Cheers.
  14. Could always replace your current exhaust with a nismo weldina NE-1, with the tip included for 1500 from import monster... great exhaust, i have the same one on mine.. check the webiste if your interested mate... eliminates the Y pipe with dual pipes from the dumps that join about a half meter before the muffler.. so you could maybe break even selling your current exhaust and Y pipe?... food for thought anyways...
  15. Nothing wrong with being more sexy though right haha.... I also understand what you mean, and i will be keeping my stock bar also, and to be honest when i got the car i never thought i would change the front bar as i thought it looked by far aggressive enough.. but after continually seeing the nismo bar i have come to really like the look of it.. which is weird because when i first started looking at them i thought it was abit ugly ha.. Keen to see it on the yellow, and the extra vents adding more to the yellow on black theme etc.. i will get one one day..
  16. I got falken 452s within your price range, 275/19... They go alright... For street use anyways, never had them on the track...
  17. It is sad Terry... The problem with it aswell (especially with 34Rs as theres not that much on offer), theres is a lack of comparison for correct kms.. i started to believe myself that what they had was pretty much how a 34r looked with 50k kms.. and to be honest, alot of other ones on the market looked in very similar condition with similar kms.. thats when i started wondering elsewhere inspecting other cars and was considering a 34R wasnt for me.. When i looked at my first 34R it was one of theres, and i think if they had the exact colour / spec i would have come very close to purchasing one from them, it wasnt untill i looked at a black vsII with about 110k kms onit that i really found proof that what these guys had was wrong.. the car with 110k kms showed considerable less wear and tear than any i had seen from them which really opened my eyes... Its not a hard trap to fall into, and its not that every 34R they sell is a bad one, i just wish they would advertise them genuinely.. as now they are flooding the market with very incorrect kms 34Rs.. which in the end will damage the reputation for the car here, and really deter future buyers as it nearly did with me, not to mention the ripping off of the people actually buying them.. enough is enough, they have been doing it for years i believe.. as quite a few that i inspected privately, had also been brought in buy these guys.. Shame on them, as you said Terry, taking advantage of peoples hopes and dreams.. its just wrong.....
  18. Have been biting my tongue on this one, it's just not right! How can they get away with this stuff? It's so easy to prove, really...
  19. The black one in sydney has about 168k kms I believe.... Was a grade 3.5, I have not seen the car to personally comment on the condition though... Sold relatively cheap i believe also...
  20. Silver r33 gtr I think, drove past my work in Hamilton today just after lunch, brightened up what was a dull meeting, cheers! And saw a black 32gtr a couple of times on hunter st yesterday afternoon.
  21. yea i would much prefer second hand genuine, will see how things go, at the moment im not going to do anything too proactively as there are onther things i need to focus my car funds on ha... Goodluck and would like to hear if you find one. Cheers
  22. Hey had a look in my boot today to find some tools... my thoughts.. on the passenger side part everything is the same as yours terry. then moving from left to right the section where i have two screw drivers, the red one i believe is non genuine, the black one i believe is, it says japan on there but not nissan, strangely the screw driver is both a phillps and flat head as you can pull the whole shaft out and use either end?... so im not really sure if something bigger is meant to go in that spot, and if the black one is genuine, why are there two spots? only one would be required for screw drivers, unless something else goes there?.. the next section i believe should be full of spanners, and i seem to only have 3 of the five??... the clippers im not sure where they are from, they just came in the blue bag next to it which i dont believe is genuine either... pretty interesting stuff, thoughts?
  23. yea thats what i meat, min 5k at an absolute... if i were serious about doing it, i would probably budget around the 10k mark, as if your going to do it, it would be worth doing it right...... the first time
  24. I talked to some painters recently regarding satin black and they said the cost of the paint is basically the same.. so im thinking you would be looking at a normal respray price, but if you were going with a matte black you wouldnt want it done cheaply! at least 5k i would think at a min.. but it would be a nightmare to maintain i would think...
  25. I've been looking for one of these for a while also, they are 1200 from rhdjapan which ain't too bad, but it's the 800 of shipping that kills it.. Wonder if they can fit two in one box ha??...
