If everything in the add is true then it's very, very cheap.., My guess, accident damage or rust?... Could be a fake?..

Thats a good thing, the less time in japan away from salted roads the better i have found. Got any pics of the underneath? Could be a goer then... ask for some pics of the drivers seat bolsters, that can usually be handy in showing if the kms are genuine...

Yea i pay very similar to this unfortunately... if it was stock/legal i would only pay about $990.... I am considering trying to get my car past the emssions test for this reason...

would be interested in knowing when it was imported also?... If you keep an eye on the auctions in Japan it will give you a good idea of what recent arrival cars are actually worth also. say a dealer advertises a new arrival 34R for 45K says its in good condition and has 50ksih kms... you will know something is up as grade 4-5 34Rs in Japan go for a pretty good price, and could cost 50k landed without there profit etc.. and with the one above, i would suspect you could have dramas transfering rego.. when i was searching i came very close to attempting buying interstate, but decided against it to avoid hassels... unless its dead stock, i would avoid it personally.

I saw this on carsales last week. Looks too good to be true i think. Its got lots of goodies. I suspect kms arent original based on price, or maybe has rust underneath or accident repairs... i would try and request some pics of the underside before commiting to travelling to see it... One of the first things i would do when inspecting a 34R would be to look underneath.

Personally i love the clean look you get from TE37s or LMGT4s on a 34R.. its been done heaps, but for a reason... heres 2 pics of my car, one with some pretty unique wheels, then one thats a proven winner... couldnt be happier with them.

Just went past the foreshore then, it's closed for a triathlon and I believe it will be closed all weekend for it. May need to propose another end point?

No problem mate, if you want specific pics just let me know where you want photos etc... There a pretty good fit though, I just couldn't justify 4x the amount for something pretty simply...

Ah and sorry they are called nismo side skirts and rear pods.. Genuine will fit best but will cost 4 times the amount of copys... Can take some more detailed pics of mine if your interested in fitment... Just let me know.

Ha I got those ones from body form aero in Sydney. There about 570 I think for the full set. Genuine nismo ones from japan will cost 2k+ fyi

Ha called LSV this morning, enquired about my quote a few weeks earlier... found out that there was no record on there system of the engine mods that i listed to them in the first instance that they agreed to cover, so be very careful with this, they may agree to cover modifications over the phone, but then neglect to put them in the insurance policy?... They also reitterated that illegal modifications, whether they agrreeded to cover or not, will void any claims. as stated earlier, you buy whats in the PDS...

For me it would have to be BNR34s that look the best.. If you ask many skyline fans the question, 'which is your favourite skyline?' a large majority i would think would say the Z-tune no?... Based on a 34R, which has an awesome stance, sharp lines and curves in all the right places, and a presence that the others seem to lack for me... Just my thoughts anyways, and obviously im a little bias ha...

Ha, im in the same boat.. same age, same history.. i to plan not to crash my car! I may revisit my excess with Just Car then... ps just read shannons PDS, it states they will not cover illegal modifications, but it does not say it will void a cliam, but as you said, they are more expensive than Just car, even on 'limited use' terms.

Yea thats who i went with 4 months ago.. might need to go back and revisit my preimums... they are so high though in comparison to other companies... with all the extra added premiums... i will be paying 2-4k excess (or knocking the agreed value down by that much which is already low imo)..... might see if i can do something with shannons, they were willing to offer an agreed value 8k better than just car. Yea im constantly getting flogged by them... there quick man! ha only recently got the car, its only running stock 13ish psi boost.... going to get EBC, cam gears and tune and should be around the 240-250 mark... 270 seems high if stock turbos... how hard are you pushing them?... As for the OP, stock 34Rs i believe have around 190-200ish awkw... mine with 210 feels a little sluggish at times, and needs a better tune for response... but i think stage 1 mods with exhaust, more boost and tune will see a responsive, reliable 250ish awkw that will be alot of fun, and get the GTR moving more how you want it.
