Yea my mate is looking into organising one soonish, he is going to offer it to all cars though to see if we can get a decent turnout etc... see what happens...

Would be happy for a meet in newcastle, maybe even monthly/ ever 2 month meets or something if there is enough interest?...

Also CN28s are very nice imo, I would consider them for my car when/if I decide for a change ha

Yep I have 19x10.5+22... Works really nice imo, and being in matte black, as Matt said, makes it a nice little difference from the normal, more popular color. 19s has a nice bit of dish, and the 18s will have nice concave if you go for the aggressive offset.. Just depends what your after really..

I would say I will be going back up that way, pending the time we leave etc... Would be very quite I would think on the way back for us..

It will get behind Matt's camera I'm sure one day, probably when the cars a little more finished though at this stage... The eye lids, tbh it has never bought enough attention to me to really have a good think about it (strange, as I believe the attention to detail on my car is beyond obsession, hence why the car is back at the painters again working on the bonnet ha)... Im not even 100% certain what they are, they look like nismo ones, and I like the style of them far greater than other r34 eyelids I have seen as they aren't very aggressive... But im not really privvy to what's out there either in the way of them, just not something i have really looked into.. So yea at the moment they are staying, if they didn't come with the car, I highly doubt I would have bought some, but looking at them doesnt make me what to take them off... Abit weird as there not really my Thing, but oh well... Was thinking the same with the te37sl stickers I have too.... Tough decisions haha

Not sure how hard these are to track down, but you could always get a nismo replacement for about 1k, has additional features also!

I appreciate the leg work you have done, and best of luck with the prospective gb and purchase etc. I was of the same opinion as this would be abit of a finishing touch, but my car is far from the finishing point, although if the price was right I would have snapped one up now anyways. Hey mate, Any idea how old these are? Kms? Have you had them since new? Leaks knocking etc? Pretty interested, even though they would have to sit in my garage for awhile before fitting them due to a bad driveway where I'm currently living ha. Cheers Anthony

Once boost comes on should go all the way to max quickly, should not increase later at 5k rpm etc... If all runs smoothly could be a waste gate related issue?

I have similar mods on mine, should not be as bad as described... Did it just come Japan? Could be brought back to stock from modifications for compliance and require a decent tune?

Lumleys will agree to cover modifications, but will only pay when the time comes if they are legal! So be very careful there, car needs to be engineered etc. or ADR compliant

Yea that is what i thought... but i dont believe they were made on a 'limited run' basis? as the MNPs were etc i believe?.. Im guessing they were made to order?.. so a number will be pretty hard too come by... Would love to see some red ones in Aus also.... Would think they would be a rarer colour again.

Was an awesome day all round.. Keen to see some more pics, I was going to get some at the end point but by the time I had finished lunch everyone was pretty much taking off... The only pics i got was of mine just after the bike crash waiting everyone to come back through ha..

Ha yep, not the easiest gearbox that's for sure... Although comes into its own and performs perfectly when driving with abit of spirit... Got to love it..

You can still get them new from japan approx 350ish delivered I thought?... I got mine from Aaron at import monster, can highly recommend them, I like the simplicity of the design. Good luck!
