I'm looking for a well looked after R32 GTS-t or GTS4 As stock as possible Car is within Victoria 2 door Manual trans Black if possible The car must be in Melbourne and available for me to check it out before any money is put down. 1991-94 is much preferred, but will look at 89's and 90's too! A car with no accident repair, no broken interior bits etc will really get my attention - I will pay for quality Please do not hesitate to PM me or email me at [email protected]. I'd be interested, as I'm looking at getting a Skyline with the year, but I was going to do one anyway...except I don't have a car as of yet

Condolances to the familes involved, of course... My opinion... I've been 18 for almost 2 months, and I still haven't gotten my P's. If I wanted to, I could, but I don't have a car yet. I'm looking at getting a bit of a bomb for awhile, but I'm not even thinking about going for/getting my P's until I get my car. Want to get some experience driving in that car first. The other thing is, I'll have enough money early next year to get my Sky. I wanted an R34 GT-T for so long, but I've decided I'm going to get an R34 GT25 Non-turbo first. A few reasons. Yes, I've been in turbo 'Lines, and I loved it. I'm hooked. But I don't think I'll be able to be absoloutely confident driving one. I'm doing a defensive driving course once I get my P's, and probably an Advanced one as well not long after. I don't want my girlfriend to be in danger, just as I don't want the people around me to be. I'm not trying to poke fun at anyone, or even trying to be an arse. This is just how I feel about it all. Just my 2 cents (or something).

I wouldn't mind it either - would be something to start with anyway, and might save me a bit - plus i'd learn a bit more from fixing it up...

Like what, if I could ask? I'm quite interested in the QuikTrak style of system, so any other systems like that would be something I'd look at.

I'm still thinking about it...I'll look around a bit more, do some more homework...maybe other people could help me out by giving me some estimates of what they paid for insurance back when they were 18 and paying for an R34. I checked the Insurance thread, but I'm still not sure...The R34 is my ultimate gorgeous car, and I'll get one one way or another.

What's happening about the Dyno? Been keeping a close eye on this, as I'm looking at doing the exact same thing once I get my R34 GT25... Thanks for all this btw.

Check the links buddy The premium ended up being $3100 or so... Damn the year - why didn't Nissan make them earlier? I've pretty much set my sights on this though, and I may talk to 666Dan about the bolt-on turbo option, as this IS an RB25DE, so I should have quite some fun with it.

I'll be 18 in a month, so I'll be coming down to meet you guys sometime after then. It'll be good to meet/talk to everyone.

I emailed him in regards to how often they get cars of this model and quality, and the avg price that they cost, landed, so that I can organise the money and so on. He's been very helpful about it, and I can't thank him enough for it.

That was the page that started this... I sent an email to Geoff about it, as I don't have anywhere near what I'll need, and he's put me on the R34 Skyline list for a 7 day trial, to see the examples of what they get at auction. Can't wait til tomorrow, I'll have a lot of cars to look at. I'll give Justcars a call, and see what I can find out. Thanks heaps
