  1. Nah I haven't done a comp test yet. Will try and do it tomoz if I get a chance. would rather sell the whole motor with all the stuff bolted on it. Oh and the car is silver in color if any1 is after doors, boot or rear bumper

  4. I got pulled over and defected between xmas and new years and was reported to epa. The I was talking to 1 of my mates that runs a aircon shop and his brother inlaw has started with the vic police. The first week that he went out with the highway patrol the copper training him said the the first rule of being hiway patrol is that "we pull over every skyline we see and report them or defect cause we fkn hate them." Nice to know that the cops are out there to get bad guys.. Just thought I would add that.

  6. Gday guys, just thought I would pick your brains for some ideas and opions. First of all I have a r33 gtst, It has a fmic, 3 inch exhaust, exeedy hd clutch. I have a z32 with a nistune board that is getting a base tune on it in about a week, so I can drive it to get tuned. I also have a set of sard 550cc injectors to put in the old girl.(once the base tune is done.) The turbo in it is stock and I wish to change it to something that with heat sheilds might not be picked by the cops. Was thinking of a 3076 or maybe 3071? I dont want a cheap crappy turbo, was thinking of a garrett. (ideas please) Now will i need to upgrade my fuel pump (intank), and what would you guys suggest? Will I need to get a new fuel pressure regulator? Any help and suggestions would be great thanks.

  9. Ok thanks for the info. I would like to say that i have a lot experance in cars(naturaly asperated ones, holden 1 tonners and a rfew diff v8's) So I know the basics around cars. But never owened a turbo car. I was just asking some questions. So i can weld and i have a workshop, so no big dramas for making a piping kit just wondering. I didnt mean to ask noobish or simple questions. Thanks for all your imput guys. Lance
  10. Is it normal to have smaller piping or would it be better to 3 inch like the inlets of the intercooler? If you have a photo of your setup that would be great. I have found a few piping kits but not sure about this cross pipe that you talk about. I have a blow off valve already(on the car) and would still like to use it. Do most piping kits accomodate for bov's??
  11. Cool. So is it better to have shorter piping or longer piping? The turbo for the moment is standard. But I am looking at getting a top mount manifold and turbo in the near future. Also with the piping could I use 3inch exaust pipe with manderial bends or will it not be able to handle the pressure? Also is it better to have steel bends or are the silicon cuplings just as good?   12. Thanks. Now another question. I want to do a lot of upgrades to my car over time. So if i was to buy a intercooler rated at 1000hp, would it still work well before I get to big hoursepower? Or should I just buy 1 that is good for 400hp for now? ( I would rather just buy it once if I can). Thanks Lance

Now just wondering which is better the bar and plate or tube and finn intercooler. my car has a litte intercooler on it at the moment, and was wondering if it would make much differance?   16. Ok sorry was a little tired when I wrote this last night. I have a 3 inch exaust system on it. I also have a front mount intercooler (doesn't look like its too good it measures 530x300x80. it uses the 2 pipes going back to the turbo and intake, on the passanger side..), and running about 11 psi boost(have a proper boost gage to 30 psi no vaccume and dont rely on the dash boost/vaccume gage.). I also have a oil recolater and cooler for the engine. And a stock ecu as war as i know. By the way were is the ecu so I can check before i go ebay crazy.(and the wifey kills me.) And of course the button clutch that i mentioned befoer in my first post. Thanks Lance..
  17. I have done 1 dif meet at winton and would like to do more of then. I have a r33 gtst all stock. Except for the button clutch. Just got a few Questions. I stuffed my diff, it whines like a baby. Now I am looking at getting a Kaaz 2way lsd (new)and was wondering if I need to get the bigger backing plate so that I can hold more oil for longevity? Found this for a bigger backing plate http://driftshop.com.au/diff.htm Also would it help the diff with a scavange pump and cooler? Or am I just wasting good money? I would also like to start buying some other stuff for my car to get it cracking a bit better. Were would be a good place to start? I was thinking of a ecu so that any other mods that I do can be tuned as I go. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great. Thanks Lance

  19. Gday guys. i have just bought a r33 skyline. it runs a standard turbo and motor as i know it. So my question is how much bost can I run as standared anbd flf the shit out of it with out the engine failing?? I have been told that 10 psi is the max? Any help would be great.. Thanks Kikka
