heya on the door panel thing, it saids the tyre pressure should be 35 psi this is for the stock GTT rims 17x7.5 jj however, as i have just recently upgraded to 18x8's should i still use 35 psi? anyone with 18's use something different? car is a gtt but i think they should all be the same right? just wanted to make sure as not to blow up my tyres lols

oohh.. let me add my 2 cents worth.. Firstly, at least us 'little boys' have the decency to respect the deceased and not flame/vent/troll in this thread. Secondly, i dont know where you are from but over here in Sydney, i see more to$$ers in commodores and utes (actually i wont generalise but lets say they're not p platers but so called 'mature adults') tailgate other drivers and act just as equally if not more of an idiot than those mentioned in your thread. Reality check, these 'hoons' are not limited only to p platers nor imports. Thirdly, p plater restrictions wont do jack for a whole list of reasons in which i wont even go through. If a 'hoon' wants to act like an idiot and break the law by going XXXkm/h over the speed limit, a power restriction would not stop them. They will either just remove the p plates, ignore the restriction, get an exemption(easily done) or find another car which is legally under the limit but is modded up its a$$. Look at Vic and their restrictions, i lost count at how many p platers still own/drive their high powered imports =) sorry to shatter your dreams but its not going to happen. btw, lol @ "p plater and wearing a cap"... cap? you serious? i rest my case...

ya.. think he's selling them in the FS section now IMO, price is a 'tad' steep but there are ppl who probably will buy it if i had the extra $15k, i know i would either spend it on mods or upgrade to a GTR =) nice plates none the less

heh, interesting experience bout 2 mins ago came home from uni (late night), turned into the street off my street, saw a cop car bout 20m in front but made nothing of it and turned into my street on the left, pulled up onto my driveway and waited for the turbo to cool down... 5 seconds later, the same cop car (i'm pretty sure) pulled into my street, slows down to around 5ks and drives past me... i opened the garage door and drove in (didnt want to look sus idling on a driveway) and continued with my business.. cop car drove back out and back onto the main road again.. funny thing is.. there is no way the cop car could've did a U-turn and turned back into my street within the 5 or so seconds (big kerb thing with plants in the middle up onto the end of the street) unless he did a u turn into the same lane and went against traffic for a good 20 metres =) but its good to know cops care =)

umm. there has been countless posts/polls/vents about this topic imho, power restrictions should NOT be implemented. why? 1) i'm a p plater lol.. 2) it wont stop idiots hooning around .. remember, all cars are capable of reaching fast speeds.. an excel can still be a deadly weapon in the hands of an idiot 3) it will encourage more p platers to 'break the law' by removing their p plates 4) it probably wont do much.. look at vic and the amount of prohibited vehicles driven by p platers 5) driver education is the GO! i know that if they "do" implement it.. i'm goin to do all i can to get exempted. !! there should be a few ways according to vic roads (i'm in nsw but should be the same deal)

Hi all.. Sorry for posting up a thread which has been done over and over and over again, but after reading through the searches, i'm still confused as to r34's and xenons. Ok, my r34 has the xenon word on the casing, the little switch inside which focuses the headlights up and down (not sure if this has anything to do with xenons).. The globes right now are yellowish so im pretty sure thye're not xenons but there seems to be a tint of blue if the light reflects off a window (maybe i'm imagining this though coz i want xenons so much hahahah jkjk) ... anyways, if i have the xenon word in the lamp, does this mean that: 1) I can locate xenon bulbs from compliancers (disregarding the fact that they arent auto cleaning/leveling) and plug them in ready to go? 2) I still need to replace alot of other items? E.g. wiring, casingetc.. Please list them if any... 3) Dont bother... cost > benefits =( I mean, if my car did come with xenons and provided its not toooo expensive (less than $500) to get them working again, then i dont want to waste it. edit: if the xenon plan does not go through, i was thinking of getting white/blue globes as i hate the standard ones in my car now (very yellowish + bad lighting @ night).. what rating is best for the most light and blue glow (rice factor =P ) and would not cop me a defect Thanks Eric
