  1. passenger side would be ideal but my lines wont be long enough. drivers side bov's are in the way how about engine bay? no air flow would be the issue

  3. hi guys, i have an earls oil cooler kit fitted to my gtr currently sitting in front of the radiator (between the radiator & intercooler)...can i relocate this somewhere else which is suitable for air flow? reason i want to move it is so that i can refit the a/c fan in front of the radiator & start using my a/c once again regards, marko

  5. i wanted to gain thoughts of whether ppl here have been done (other than dahtone racing) for running a big single in nsw by the epa? what is the process if u get a defect (i.e. does the turbo need to be removed) & why would it be illegal? i have a low mount setup on my gtr & have considered a big single but if i get done its not worth it
  6. should i look at matching my exhaust cam with my inlet cam taking into consideration the below specs: A269IN (inlet) 9.15mm lift A252X (exhuast) 9.15mm lift ...or can the 252degree be adjusted out with the cam gears - NFI
  7. paul - my cams are as follows: A269IN (inlet) has 'U6' stamped on it A252X (exhuast) has 'U7' stamped on it lift are identical @ 9.15mm (as per my vernier)
  8. well ive read the entire thread & i have looked at using jim berry's clutch in my current car & past car but time got the better of me... i have a gtr with rb30 aiming for over 400awkw...will his clutch hold this type of power as i will also take it to the drag strip to see what it can run (mid 10sec pass will be in it). it is a street car. i think im best off just calling jim & make sure my mobile charger is plugged in at the same time i know that paul 'dirtgarage' also raves about jims clutches & he is now running over 500awkw from memory!? how about 'NPC' what is this clutch & what does it stand for?
  9. hi guys, i am looking at upgrading my cams but i want to know how far i can go with the rb26 head before i need to change buckets & springs... as far as i am aware tomei pon cams @ IN 260/EX 260 Lift 9.15 is close to the max? fyi im building an rb30 & my goal is 400+awkw (street setup) regards, marko

  12. for the 2 guys who pm'd me about the power delivery - pls refer to graph attached the boost actually fluctuates between 18psi & 19psi...
  13. i am being conservative with the kms as i honestly think these turbos have not done more than 5000km look at the pics and u will notice no markings on the impeller turbine or exhaust turbine hence they are 'new' condition when i turn the car off the turbos keep spinning for about 10sec or more :-)
  14. hi guys, i am selling my hks gtss twin turbo setup with actuators (as pictured)! - age: 15,000km - condition: like new - why selling: not suitable for my new engine build - location: sydney (interstate is fine) - price: $2900 (they are for sale on rhdjapan for $5k: http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/HKS-GT-SS-...RB26DETT-21064) other notes: - these are a direct bolt on replacement to the standard low mount gtr turbo's (no headaches with modification or other parts required). - they made 325awkw with 720nm torque @ 19psi on CRD's dyno with baby cams (rated @ 640hp). - ive run an 11.1sec quarter mile @ 129.75mph (this is a 10second setup with the right launch technique). they come on full boost @ 3000rpm which is very similar boost response to the factory items. you can either pm or call me on 0404 884 876 regards, marko

  16. sorry to bring up the sour memories but did u run a oil pump crank collar with your n1 oil pump? do u know the reason why this oil pump let go? ive spoken to 3 mechanics who actually vouch for the n1 oil pump 'if' the crank collar is fitted

  21. hi guys, im after a sump kit for my gtr, something which increases oil capacity & has baffles (prefereably with wings & gates as well if possible) something customised is fine, either to modify my existing sump OR as a replacement regards marko p.s. i live in sydney
  22. thanks guys, ive decided to stick with a low mount system due to the fact that it will cost me double with a high mount setup...although the bling of high mounts cant be beaten!
