  1. well i got stitched dennis, jebemti! price drop $100.
  2. actually, i haven't been 100% lately with this flu/blocked nose & ears/sore back/headache etc! there are another 2 rb30 cranks for sale on sau for $250 so i thought $200 was reasonable...besides, this is what i paid for it - in all honesty, whats its worth paul? i'll sell it for whatever its worth - im not really concerned about it, just want to move it onto someone who can put it in good use
  3. hi guys, i am selling my spare rb30 crank which was going to be used for my rb26/30 build! - condition: very good - location: sydney (interstate is fine) - price: $200 you can either pm or call me on 0404 884 876 regards, marko
  4. hi guys, im about to drop my engine back into my gtr - 26/30 build which means that my intercooler plumbing which runs to the intake plenum on the drivers & passenger side will ‘more than likely’ not marry up due to the difference in height @ 38mm (taller rb30 block). I have an idea to cut my factory black rubber pipes somewhere in the middle, then add a similar diameter alloy pipe which would be 2inches in length to run inside the rubber pipes, fixed with 2 strong ‘t clamps’ – I can then adjust the length to suit! What other ideas are out there which also work? It would be great if I could get silicone aftermarket intercooler pipes to suit the additional length i was also advised to elongate the engine mount holes by 5mm so that the total height drop to about 33mm
  5. thanks for the advice as 1 of my main concerns was surge - i'll definitely forget about the hard pipe (crossed that off the list) my existing hoses are actually in good condition as well 50/50 about upgrading the hoses, it is good insurance though
  6. that is the funniest avatar i have ever seen - what is it? jabba the hut on a pill?
  7. exactly my thoughts nick - any trader in particular you'd recommend for these hoses?
  8. hi guys, not sure if i should upgrade my heater hose kit & radiator hose kit with silicon & possibly even do the hard pipe kit for my gtr whilst the engine is out. ive come across these 2 companies on ebay: http://www.silicone-hose.net/ http://www.asiperformance.com/ does anyone have experience with these guys?
  9. it has been bought to my attention by my engine builder that my crank should be machined to freshen up the journals as no. 6 journal in particular has light scoring (although it never made the typical 'spun bearing' sound) background info: the reason i pulled this crank out was due to the fact that it dropped compression in cylinder no.2 hence why i originally pulled the engine out keeping in mind the above info & cost to machine which is about $150...i have halfed the price from $300 to only $150
  10. hi guys, im looking for about 4 metres of rubber hose for my catch can (ID 19-22mm), obviously needs to be oil resistant so that it doesnt break down with age. all i can find is 20metres of this stuff on ebay which is way too much for my application. im located in sydney if it helps regards marko 0404 884 876

  14. u might be surprised that my dads torana (76 model) was acrylic & my other car (rover) 82 model is also acrylic, unless i misunderstood your response
  15. beautiful rims matt - the garage saurus r32gtr with carbon side panels (my dream car) has the same wheels
  16. sorry URAS i missed ur comment on the springs, ill speak to my builder again about these interesting feedback
  17. i stuck with the 10.8mm lift as suggested by my engine builder & rips - once u go to 11.5mm lift a lot more grinding is required as well as buckets & shims with the 10.8mm lift grinding was required to accomodate the extra lobe height if performance springs are good enough for my engine builder & others that have used them with solid results, they're good enough for me
  18. this thread reminds me of my dato 1600 i built 10yrs ago with an fj20t what a beast. cheap fun except 4 traction
  19. i will find out this morning via auspost what the charge is for postage then let u know
  20. that gives me reassurance if the 2 united servos will continue to hold e85! sounds like a legitimate reason. 3 q's: - how many united servos are there nationally? - if other bowsers cannot hold e85 due to its fuel lines, i wonder why i.e. does it have corrosive agents? - would this cause damage to a vehicle which is not designed to run e85? maybe im reading into it too much, then again maybe im not
