  1. i wish this was the case, its with gregs diff guy...unfortunately out of both of our hands
  2. sorry double post, damn mobile phone connectivity
  3. it looks the goods greg on that flow bench! i cant believe the turnaround on those seals from nissan, they're obviously in no rush
  4. greg, is that engine also running argo rods
  5. i had the aust delivered r32gtr which was bought for 125k + onroad
  6. mid 40's @ the creek is seriously quick - when i was racing bikes (250 production) most guys couldnt crack into the low 50's. bigger bikes would pull quicker times...my PB was 1:39 (also did a 1:37 but not confirmed)
  7. perform a search on proengines, greg is very well priced with quick turnaround and everything he does is onsite and by 1 person so no middleman involved. has built way too many rb's and infact just about finished my 26/30. ive seen my head porting which looks fantastic and is supplying flow bench testing with before v's after results...can i ask for more? others such as scooby have used the same workshop. talk to greg about your setup, he can answer your q's mate
  8. i had a similar chat with dirtgarage about losing vacuum & braking power off-boost, could be very dangerous at times for a street car im sure he can advise with his words of wisdom ...i just realised this is in the rb30 conversion group, he calls them 'forklift motors'...not much of a fan but i am
  9. saw it once on american chopper - amazing stuff!
  10. ever since i saw mark & russ's previous r32gtr on ignition dvd i fell over ...this 34 however looks incredible with those custom guards
  11. anthony, you are demonstrating the key signs of a young man coming to fruition as a mature old man hopefully you snap out of it or you might live to regret it, makes for a great daily driver i think
  12. so am i - are they available?
  13. dave, u might fall in the minority group like myself. seriously be prepared to fork out money with high boost if it doesnt hold, i was hence why i pushed the boundary twice.
  14. point taken. however my current gtr had gtss's on 325awkw tuned by crd, would be good if ur theory was true
  15. LOL an aust r32 with genuine 90000km, and its last 4000km of life @ 19psi...is that "clapped out" when the rb26 is strained on boost, generally a ring land will collapse with stock pistons. regardless if its a 32, 33 or 34. so how do u explain my mates 34 with 50000km which let go on the same boost? i learned the hard way
  16. nick must be from SPAAAARTA!
  17. - my 1st engine was running 19-20psi, after 6 mths ring land collapsed (that was a genuine 90,000km engine, aust delivered gtr with full history) - my current was running 19-20psi, after 9 mths same thing dont expect it to last long - dont forget these engines are pushing 20yrs now
  18. i was criticized on lag when i ran gtrs's 5yrs ago, depends on driving style as i too like the gtr howling revs :-)
  19. i did a search on the traders section & justjap have their jjr items
  20. in regards to rear housing dont go for the larger .86 as these are suited for a single application and is overkill, as told by gcg turbos and others in the know how. will be a lag monsta! for this reason i stuck with .64
  21. if it doesnt sell nick u can have it
  22. i made my purchase today, gtr has to be the most challenging engine bay ive ever worked on and ive had over 15 cars to date i miss the simplicity of working on my motorbikes, pull up a milk crate and have a drink at the same time
