  1. Do clutches these days need to be bed in properly? Getting all kinds of answers from friends, forums and mechanics alike.

  4. Whats peoples experiences with them? I seem to be hearing a fair amount of negative feedback towards them slipping. Need a half decent clutch ASAP. Rang NPC and they quoted me around $1000 for a cushioned button rated to 400rwkw and a flywheel for another $400. I didn't really want to spend anymore than around $600-$800 on a clutch to hold 300rwkw. Thanks.

  6. My rear super dragger muffler was all rusted and colapsed on the inside. They're a fairly old muffler I think. Ended up gutting it.

  8. What kind of cash money are we talking with NPC clutches for something around 400-500bhp? I've just done my HD clutch in the skyline at 220rwkw only 10,000kms old, one day after I got it back from the tuners. Haven't had much luck with cars lately.

  10. Will make a new thread in time when I get a new exhaust. Will probably keep an eye out for a high mount kit. Pretty sick of mucking around with this low mount rubbish.
  11. Its a 4" intake off the turbo reduced to 3" to pod filter. Tuner reccomends a better flowing rear housing and a bigger turbine wheel. He also mentioned when they unbolted the exhaust it gained 20rwkw.
  12. Not sure of that turbodragon, I assume its with headhpones. Its a fairly reputable workshop and they do alot of RB25 work and work on VLs. I havent spoken with them today. Will ring them soon
  13. Relatively same condition, one has a chip of paint off around where the centre cap goes, as stated
  14. All it said on the receipt was recondition head. 3" dump pipe, aftermarket high flow cat and catback exhaust. Its an 0.82 internal W/G MTQ/Sonic rear housing with GTX 0.6 compressor housing
  15. Currently my R33 GTST is at the tuners again. They having trouble getting decent power out of the car. Curious to hear peoples thoughts. Current modifications are; Rebuilt motor & reco head 10,000kms ago GTX3076R bolt on turbo, FMIC, intake. Wolf 3D v4. Full exhaust 044 fuel pump & nismo 740cc injectors At 9 psi of boost it makes 190rwkw At 16psi of boost its currently making 220rwkw and starts to detonate so they must modify the timing they said. I thought it would be alot higher than this for that boost level? Thanks.
  16. Mine does this with normal driving if I go to stop at an intersection it will idle down and nearly stall. Stalls once in a blue moon. I run a wolf 3d with MAP. I suspect its a tune issue.
