Yes it definitely is a special merge for the ultimate sound and I will sue if anyone tries to copy me It's a mission to hold the thing back, it is making power in a way that JUST hasn't been seen before. I paid a premium to NAPREC for their special ingredients, it's their only Australian SR20 so they just went full-tilt. It's a stage 5 head.

i think the removal of the squish pads really adds to the aggression of the sound.... i mean, we are talking soundwaves here and my soundwaves operate from a perfect hemisphere......yep, you got it, no squish pads to disrupt the exhaust gas catapulating into the manifolds. JUN really was onto something back in the 90's....

dropped by insight tonight the car is up and running. It literally is off it’s head, volume is akin to a MIG fighter jet It is the best sounding SR I’ve ever heard, my whole body was shaken from what sounds like a JUDD V8 w/ 320 degree cams. It’s on the dyno tomorrow Scott is going to wind it up his confidence in my physics has gained traction. It’s a special head that’s for sure, one of one

Hks Japan 2.8 Engine Build
BakemonoRicer replied to elrodeo666's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Best build thread ever, this is how it's done -
Wiring is in progress and will be finished by Tuesday next week, going to need some heavy duty straps to hold this thing back from jumping off the dyno seriously. No PRP brace on this build, we have followed the laws of physics not marketing hype. Don't fancy redrilling/replaneing that thing to suit anyway. No CDM parts on my car, only JDM & USADM I think it will be hard for the car NOT to make 300kw , gate springs are 14psi and I expect this is the figure I'll be getting. I mean, obviously, the head is akin to a Mario Rossi daytona 305ci head & this is what happens.....make big power easily. Moreover, I think the thing I'm most excited about is the sound....a big valve head with a big bore no nonsense exhaust. One rear muffler only, can't disturb the exhaust gas when I'm on the limit...but I can disturb the neighbours within a 3 block radius honestly. It's going to sound like a peripheral port 3 rotor, I've done the maths. Cheers, Benny "The Don".

R33 Gtr Prices -price Projections?
BakemonoRicer replied to GTR-N1's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
R33's are in 100k territory now in Japan, and are heading towards 200k for a Grade 4.5 Within the next 2-3 years. 34's are heading towards 300-400k for Grade 4.5, they're already there. -
Dose, AI didn't make the cut, their surge tanks are too small, look at the volume those pumps take up, damn near the whole canister. I had no choice but to go big spec with aircraft grade alloy and 10L volume. Gonna be needed to keep the fuel cool when I'm full tilt at wakefield coming in hot through the kink, should help with a bit of weight over the rears to keep me planted. Micko, no Elixir in main tank, I would of needed a billet cradle for that puppy so for once I didn't spend the dollars. Leaving the Nismo lift pump in there.
