Thats what I first thought so I've already tried a new O2 sensor and it made no difference.

Car drives fine once accelerating, no missfire or hesitation, just runs rich, rough idle and sometimes stalls. I'll clean the aac valve out aswell as it can't hurt, it seems to idle a bit better with it unplugged. Not sure if the cars runs with the afm disconnected, never tried.

Burn it, I'm sick of working on it hahaha Cheers, if we can get our hands on one I'll swap it over and see how it goes. I think at this stage it's all trial and error to fix the problem, different mechanics have different theories, one had the suggestion of a faulty coolant temp sensor???

Ended up buying a Just Jap water temp to try out and it works great. As mentioned I have mine mounted on the pillar and can be a little hard to read in bright sunlight, but looks great a night

Spotted in Ipswich CBD around 9:00am a silver V35 4 door with a kit i've never seen before, the rear tail lights were very different and looked sort of Impul style Also spotted Miss Niz yesterday with me behind the wheel

Yeah it does, the gain feature is for boost consistency, the start boost (set gain) feature is what helps with spool times. I found you noticed this the most during gear changes.

I have the Profec B II, very easy to install, tune and controls boost very well.

Spotted a R33 GTR with ** GTR plates in Ipswich near the race course around 5:15pm.

Had a Turbosmart bleeder (it died) then a GFB bleeder and finally changed to a Greddy Profec B spec II and will never go back to a bleeder again, boost comes on alot harder between gear changes, holds boost nice and consistant. Also I got sick of having to dive into the engine bay everytime I wanted to change boost settings.

Was mentioned here that it went 146mph.

Yeah I'm not going, my suspension ain't designed for long distances and last time I went to Noosa the roads leading there were s**thouse. And if Miss Niz don't like it, she can drive the 31 and she how she likes it Depending on what time I wake up tomorrow I might come to Springwood for a look though.

Good stuff, I was thinking of putting a SAFC on mine as I've got a jap chipped ecu for my Nics which runs a bit rich and made 160rwkw with afr's dropping as low as 10.8:1.

The Nics is one of the early HR31/200ZR redtop versions of the Rb20.

Yeah it's strange, for me any model/year skyline full comp is a couple hundred dollar's cheaper a year than a 200sx/silvia/180, plus the skyline is insured for more

My RB20 NICS made 160rwkw with a RB25 turbo, chipped ecu, EBC etc.... but my motor is in perfect health unlike most NICS which are usually buggered. You can just change the turbo to a 25 unit, but without an ecu upgrade you won't see a big improvement due to low boost cut and poor fuel map. I'd suggest just keep the car standard then save for a RB25 like you said.
