  1. I'll have to have a look to see if my GTS coupe has it
  2. The silvertop box has double syncro's, but unsure whether the ratios are the same?
  3. I like using the Bluebird SSS-X, everything modified to the max except leave standard gearbox and use the crappiest of the free tyres. Suspension setup: 6.2kg front, 5.6kg rear. 4.5" camber front and 3" rear. ride height low as possible. It's a brilliant setup on tsukuba, and the car has a great balance.
  4. Try advertising on R31 Skyline Club as you would probably have more luck there
  5. My standard RB20 turbo started giving what sounded like a cop siren on boost and took the intake pipe off and the compressor wheel was rubbing on the housing. Fixed it by replacing it with an RB25 turbo :headspin:
  6. That happened to a mate of mine in his Z18ET 910 Bluebird, but the trumpet managed to get caught on something so he did loose it luckily. The new model Type 3's (I have one) don't screw on like the older ones, so it must have been a common problem with the older ones for Turbosmart to change it.
  7. Are they interested in a HR31 Coupe at all? I guess probably not, cause no-one does coilovers for them
  8. What worked for me was at the start you slipstream them all and get in front. When in front, stay on the same racing line that they take. It will take them a while to catch up, and then just let them pass you and keep slipstreaming and passing etc... Then the last corner you get a good slipstream and past the pack and you should be able to get onto the back of the first skyline and pass him. I tried everything else at first and then tried that and first time I did, I won :headspin:
  9. Well I have an RB25 turbo (yes it's ballbearing) on my RB20 and it goes great. I see full boost around the 3000-3100 RPM mark, and holds boost and power all the way to redline. Have heard that the VG30 turbo is a bit laggier, but will produce a bit more power.
  10. I'll be there to watch, as my coupe isn't quite ready for the dyno yet
  11. So where abouts are you in Brisbane and are you interested in selling off parts or are you selling as a complete car? Just let us know as a mate and I will be interested in some parts.
  12. It's http://www.r31skylineclub.com
  13. I just ran a 7'55.681 with a completely stock R34 GTR. Took 3 goes, but I finally got under the 8 minute mark
  14. Hey mate, you should look at getting a high flow cat to minimise the flow restriction.
  15. Hr31's were all redtop Rb20's so if it has a silvertop Rb20, it's a R32 engine.
  16. I'll have to keep my eye out for it then :headspin:
  17. 101 Motorcafe is at Slacks creek, Judds Ct. Yes, it is the one with the pink waiting room.
  18. Good luck trying to find a GTS-R strut brace, I was very very lucky to find mine (at the time I bought it I didn't know it was a GTS-R strut brace). Whiteline have strut braces to suit 31's. I did have a pair of those lights, but I sold them last week :bonk: Good luck in finding both as they are very hard to get.
  19. I'm just interested in what mods do you have to produce the 150rwkw ????????
  20. A turbo off an RB25 (r33 or r34) are a straight bolt-on to a silvertop RB20 and are a great upgrade.
  21. As he said, just block off the standard BOV and put a pod filter on and away you go. The bigger the front mount, the louder the sound.
  22. It sounds like the air-con compressor to me. Does the ticking noise increase with revs?
  23. The series 1 passage didn't have 4WS, but all the coupes and S2 and S3 passages did have the 4WS.
  24. Fierce, I wanna drive the SSS Bluebird Z18ET
