  1. Anyone else see F&F 7 on American Dad? lfmao
  2. They called me cos it wont start. Looks like i forgot the starter wiring or something. Doh.. minus points for DIY Mik
  3. I have Dr Schroedinger's car. Its currently both good and bad, its quantum state is undecided. That means Autotech must be quantum mechanics. Ahh..., bad science jokes.
  4. Hahaha! i was thinking the same thing. Its already had some plastic surgery. I think it had more than a stroke........ well shes been in the wars thats for sure. Actually stressing a bit, i hope i did all the right things with the right bits, and i didnt give them a headache to fix. Its because of all the work and money and work... back breaking bloody work doing the shed so i could do the car.
  5. last resort... pull it all off and shake the bugger out.
  6. Its ok, ive been saving for ages as i havent got it there as soon as id liked. And sometimes you just gotta pay the pros to get it all right. Being a tradesman i have no problem with that. Its only fair. And after reading about them here and there i have confidence they will do a good job. Watching my car being towed i noticed the left side of its face droops ever so slightly.
  7. A big week for me... Tuneup today! Well at least its going there today. Tomorrow bub is getting surgery to take out the rest of a tooth he broke. Poor little bugger will be able to eat properly again.
  8. Doing your research is a good idea. Dont forget to look at the "What to look for when buying a new skyline" thread. The more you learn about it now, the more money you save. There are heaps of DIY instructions in the forum, HEAPS of money to be saved if you DIY. I regret some mistakes i made earlier on due to not knowing enough about skylines, so the more you learn now the better. And not sht from mates or gran turismo, but kowledge from expierenced mechanics.
  9. Awesome, no more concrete based cutting compound on Sinista when you sweep up.
  10. Fairly sure they are for R33 front, rear and clutch. And a bag of new clips (6). Driftworks sent the wrong ones and a refund also the are NOT ADR approved. So im selling them very cheap. $50 ono. Thats or nearest offer, so if the nearest offer is $20.......
  11. oops, didnt read properly- hard lines! funny, wont let me edit post properly
  12. A well prepared glue job with quality glue is pretty permanent. Ive glued some bits that had to come off later..... with a prybar, bending metal and peeling paint.
  13. Oh no, it wont go. Im getting a tow truck there. New fuel pump, bigger injectors, z32 afm, means it wont run before a tune. Not to mention the timing would be out (new timing cover, no marks), and the cam gears may need a slight adjustment. but when i get it back..........
  14. Finished up all bits and pieces for the tune on monday. Eliminated 3 switches by hooking stuff up properly. I hope they dont have to fix too much of my work. I was trying to fix problems before giving it to them, i dont want to give them problems. Anyway ill post dyno results when done. Hanging out for a drive, it been off the road a while now.
  15. Have to fix up the gauge mounting face...... Oh man, what a mess... ive added a bit here, and a bit there, and now its like this. Time to clean it up.
  16. Hmmm.... Ill have to think about it.
  17. I might want it. For rb 25? 20? How much use has it had? Any pics?
  18. Starscream Totally kicks ass
  19. Coooool, sounds like a good un. Cant wait too see it. Im booked in for a fix up and tune on the 27th so hopefully be all sweet by the friday. When do you think youll have it on the road? As in coming to meets etc.
  20. Ditch the stuff you know will spend the next 5 years rusting in your backyard. Only bring whats worth bringing home. Oh, dont forget to keep bits to pass ACT rego.
  21. How long is a piece of string? GTR is three or four times the cost of other skylines, to buy and to own. All the good places are in our thread "where to get skyline serviced".
  22. Thanks, mine is only about 3mm thick. Yes come over sometime and grab some, therse plenty left over. Got some tape youd like too, for applying it. Metal foil, fibre reinforced, handles fairly high temp and sticks real good. May have another 32 actuator, i dont know, but it looks the same.
