  1. done finally Cant help but mod everything.... even the Nerf.
  2. spanners going slow today, 1/2 hour and im rolling again I bet i miss everyone again
  3. This is how mine ended up. used heatgun to mould it and foil backed foam for insulation from the motor top is clear so i can see how dirty its getting, also dont need insulation there
  4. I may make it..... not quite finished, and lots of bits to go back on.
  5. Due to an ordering error (which cost me $$!) i have a passenger side seat base for sale. It is very solid and is made to meet fia regulations for fabricating a seat base. Plenty of holes for mounting your brackets or seat directly to it. Brand is Planted technology, rrp $140+ shipping from the US. Make an offer. For R32
  6. Getting there..... Still need to adjust (cut off and re-weld) a couple of brackets to make it all fit. Mainly the oil filter is too far forward and hoses interfere with intercooler pipe, doh, measure twice. I like the idea of bash proofing the car, it adds weight, but im never going to win any races either way. Oh, and if you spot something suspicious (youd need sharp eyes) its not real, its a toy.
  7. Ahhh... time to learn the ways of the spanner young padawan.
  8. For sure. They always have that part to get it going again.
  9. yes 100 x 50 channel 3mm thick, good quality steel. got a little more done today, added corners and getting the brackets sorted.
  10. Have to get it ready for spring playtime for bubs. Added little end bits for the corners, and getting the brackets sorted. I hope its in the right spot, its hard to tell exactly where it should be. 5-10mm off will make a big ugly gap when the bar goes on.
  11. rear hub 650 or it will break i always wanted to do a 500 single 2 stroke in a 250 sportbike. not easy to make legal though, most 500 2 strokes are not adr complied, except the cr 500e which is rare and expensive. big bore two strokes
  12. Cool, any pics? What going in what?
  13. First bit done, fits well.
  14. Main part of DIY reo done Fits like a glove. Ugly welds, but strong, tested by bashing the crap out of one with a mallet.
  15. Forfieted to the territory second offence? Awesome Cheap parts, ill have your new turbo thanks sucker.
  16. Simmons $845 per wheel pity, they would be nice Lot of final measuring and cutting done today, welding tomorrow. Then more bits n pieces, brackets and things. Should be done by the weekend.
  17. Yaar! Its time for something thats not jdm style thats why its soooo hard to find wheels to suit. if you have any suggestions......
  18. Time to re-arrange the front bit. Its too crappy. Now i have a welder and some steel its time to make it nice. And shorten those pipes, with an intercooler flip. No butchery this time, its cut and weld it good time. This should be part of my "final solution"
  19. Thanks, will check. They look in real good nik too. 9" for the back and 8"for the front. No... 17"x 9" all 4 Hmmmm.... maybe i should keep looking.
  20. Bought some steel for front reo, when i was in mitchell i dropped into trojan. He has 18" gold Volk GTC rims. They fit. I like. I like price. Are they good wheels? I mean have people had probs with them?
  21. Unless its a Ferrari etc I wasnt serious. But i do understand if its a show car. Lots of 4wds and utes with dirtbikes on brindabella rd today, people going for a look at some snow. However its doing the typical thing, nice and sunny at the cotter but up at mt Coree where the snow is, its still like a blizzard. Been there on a bike before and its NASTY up there. The ice flies sideways and finds the gap in your armour.
  22. Ferrugia....... if you just won lotto.
  23. HAIL ALERT! Small hailstones in west belco, so its heading your way. Not damaging yet, but can easy get bigger without any warning.
  24. Aaah, i see thankyou.
