  1. Getting it re-hung is cheap. Roadway in belco is good. I have some spare hanger rubbers of different sizes if thatll help. Sometimes you can just bend the hanger bars. You need a big hammer.
  2. rolled the left guards today the real tool is soooo much better than the home made job and cooling panel fitted right
  3. Got some things Shows how twisted my front is: Too far out Too far in The right tool to fix it Better
  4. I like to drown out the gear whine and diff howl + extra volume for clarity over tinitus. Rob put his what in where?
  5. Yes, then when i knew the brand and size fitted nice, i got it cheaper online. Aldi have helmets atm, probly the cheapest you can get. Bike shops have them almost as cheap but many more brands, so, different shapes to fit your head.
  6. Spotted a dark 33 at pialligo av, looked broken down. I got a HELP ME! look from them, but i was taking family and shopping home Maybe i should go for a cruise and see, but i dont really know if its broken. I didnt get much of a look.
  7. Yeah, im like Everytime.
  8. That reminds me of a mate who collected articles in the paper of things like that. Some people do the weirdest sht. The gerbil incident was the funniest. You know the one with the 2 guys and the burned moustache?
  9. Yes Want anyway
  10. Like this? Hello, my name is mik and my car is broken. Its got a little shimmy in the front left brake. I think its the radius rod mount. the hole has been enlarged by bad previous owners driving into something. Weld a plate? New k frame? Them brace gk tech thingys?
  11. Whats that? another track? Keen to find out all the local tracks So far i know about: Wakefield Marulan SDMA Sutton rd
  12. Oh no.... You may have a problem
  13. Yeah, helmet, ankle to wrist clothes, closed shoes, doesnt say all natural fibre? Dont even need extinguisher. But..... Sit in your car with a helmet on, how much room is there between the helmet and roof?
  14. Head gasket? check for oil in water and water in oil You could do that in a few hours if theres no head warping, trojan prob have a gasket on the shelf re test for sure
  15. +1 for clear roof sheets, at least a couple. Its good light for detail work. Sounds cheap, how good is the metal? I have a Stratco, expensive and sht service, but good steel. And the clear panels are good quality.
  16. Just seems to fit my limited experience. My car is a real piece of sht so the experience is interesting.
  17. Got bowdens, it cleaned a bit off. There is a clearcoat on these which has a very subtle purple/green pearl, so a full refurb would be tricky. Scotch pad isnt strong enough If you notice in the photo, some of the black stains have a white centre, thats the alloy corroding, its eaten right through the clear. I have tried oven cleaner, doesnt work. thats as far as ill go with acids and stuff. So ive just kept going with the soft brass brush and Autosol. They are becoming acceptable. Careful inspection reveals where a previous owner used harsh chemicals, a run or two on the rim where its dissolved the clear. Still happy with the price i paid. Very, there Rays Volks with minor imperfections.
  18. $20 its a hose anyone?
  19. This all sounds familiar........ Im sure this happened to me once. Just have to remember what it was. Trying..... hang on Itll come to me.... I think the ignitor wasnt earthed or the wiring up there was fked, coilpack harness earth, shorts etc Also had the idle circuit do that, the ac valve or something, that thing bolted to the inlet manifold. Another time i lost a hoseclamp on the pipes and it died as soon as boost pressure popped it off. Hope it helps, good luck.
  20. Grumblebee. Open class. Go grumblebee!
  21. He means it wont fire. So, basics guys, its spark or fuel. you mean fluid lock? bust the head off?
  22. By the way.... has anyone ever used Subaru UEC in an RB?
  23. found a weird one while searching for a solution soak aluminium foil in coke or vinegar, and use like sandpaper I think the coke is for alloy and vinegar for steel, dunno ill try it and find out. Theres also clay bar, il give that a go but on the cleaner areas. It seems theres no clear or anything as polishing compound goes black quickly. Ill have to give it a spray with something to protect it after.
