  1. Invented my own guard roller. Made from junk. Saw other ones are an adjustable arm on a plate. but more complicated than mine. Need to finish coat, maybe yellow. May put a longer roller on if i find one. It has adjustable angle, more than youd need both ways. Also adjustable length, by 10mm increments, total 60mm, not much, but good for skylines. Designed for one handed operation, cos you need a heatgun in the other. I havent tried it yet, as the garage is occupied. I will update when i try it.
  2. Guard roller done. Etch primed. Maybe paint it yellow? Havent had a chance to try it yet. Volvo is in the shed waiting for parts. So i cant try it untill thats done. When ive finished with it, it goes in SAU ACT community toolbox. Designed for one handed use, heatgun in the other.
  3. Made a real difference in mine RB25 prob even more I bet you will like a lot
  4. yeaow! $$$$ Neither do away with the outer ball joints. So its no better than a cheap ass lock bar Driftworks No more ball joint Keep in mind they are selling chinese crap, so only get what you need from them. My Driftworks radius rod is stuffed after 6 months of street driving, they dont want to know about it. Their customer service is REAL bad, i got wrong brakelines, 4 months to sort it out. So.... Good luck And just jap have a handy little fitting for looping the hicas lines
  5. Oh.. i forgot google.... doh! im so used to finding everything on sau So.. GTST 16 x 6.5 +40 GTR 16 x 8 +30 Thanks, sorry, whatever.
  6. Hey guys, i was thinking about the piles of parts i dont want anymore, and maybe we could get all our sht together and have a stall at a swap meet or trash n treasure, then put the proceeds towards something good. what to do , i dunno but i wont miss all that stuff thats for sure.
  7. Hmm.. thats true, everyones different. Ive played heaps of killing games, my first computer had 16 kb memory, and ive played computer games ever since, even won BF1942 tounaments. When i see real blood i get dizzy, and beheading vids i nearly pass out. When i was a kid i found all the horror movies boring, totally unscary. Except Jaws. I think games help soldiers with the reaction time and to not shoot over their heads, so it helps them kill quickly, but they still may have problems afterwards. Except SAS (born killers)
  8. Maybe thats why your still alive You fully understand the consequences of stacking. Maybe thats why i dont like to ride on the road anymore.
  9. Yeah its got trees and a gully near an off camber blind corner etc... Definatly have to drive safe there. Im not game to go hard on the downhill bit or the corner before it 225s rob, got em
  10. Entered 4 weeks is too long to wait, so ill have to do some more mods/adjustments in the meantime. the other guys in class 3 were getting 50 sec, i got down to 54.66 on my first day, i think i can get close to those V8s if i can get a little more traction, and drive better. Im sure the car is capable of it, the main problem is the driver. Actually im surprised my shtter did so well. But id like to do it on the same tyres, they all have semis and id like to save mine for later.
  11. R32 fit? Can borrow if it does
  12. Yeah! Thanks man. Cool ! I get pics of me driving! Ps: just found and ordered chassis setup guide book, got 2, one for me and one for.........
  13. Thanks for coming out guys. Good fun, its like an old mans motorsport, relaxed, freindly, a great way to get into motorsport. Did 4 laps today CAR 26 Skyline 62.96 3.32 16.38 58.58 3.22 15.26 57.69 3.36 15.53 56.48 3.12 14.58 55.48 3.15 14.42 54.66 3.32 14.57 Very happy with cutting time each lap. first lap ever 63 sec, down to 54.66 by the last. sweeeet. Now i see the limits of my diff too much wheelspin. But its interesting trying to drive it properly and overcome some of that. And that last shot is just for love.
  14. 9:30 start Nice.... cleverness with the electircs! Good to know someone can do it
  15. Ready for hillclimbs tomorrow. seat and harness in added more stickers for extra speed
  16. weather is nice this weekend good for hillclimb tomorrow or cruising
  17. When i had my first car, id see the bloodstained wrecks at the wreckers as i was getting parts. Some had bits of skin and hair
  18. Spotted some guy on a KTM Duke, who was waving etc but i dont know who it was. I cant think of anyone i know who is on their Ls and has a duke.
  19. Yep, im a hoarder. You should see the pile of sht behind my shed
  20. Making a lipping / guard flaring tool. It will have adjustable length and angle. When i have finished using it, it will be for SAU act. That means anyone can have it just dont take it away from ACT region.
  21. What?..... No, that make good sense. I dont think that government can make decisions like that.
  22. I dont know Theres heaps of room inside I may do the front first, then put it on the back and see how much more i can go Hmmm where to start? 9" = 228mm from inside bead 250mm from outside edge of rim So i want at least a 255 on the back if i can, more even better. And dont want less than......235 maybe front. Profile should be at least 40, or diameter is too small.
  23. Ok ok.. youre right, and it wont suit what im going to do this summer. Ok so thanks for the input, good points made: 1 Flares, lips ect look sht on a 32 2 Camber will change as i put weight on the wheels So ill try flattening the lip first and see how that goes. Adjust camber second, roll guards out last resort.
  24. for example, i dont mind this your right pete.. and i have adjustable upper front and rear arms & traction rods.
