  6. What rims are you going to put the 34 mate?
  7. Hey does anyone know whether you can pop off the OEM taillight covers and swap over onto these easily? I imagine a couple of minutes in the oven to loosen the glue to pop them off. Cheers
  8. And the following Saturday is mine
  9. Hi All, After a replacement carbon wing blade that will fit a genuine R34 GTR spoiler. Ta
  10. Hey Justin, would be keen to swap for my factory R34 GTR wheels with tyres but not sure whether you would consider these to be in the immaculate condition you are after. They are in great condition with excellent tyres Bridgestone RE001's with plenty of meat. When I'm up in Sydney next will let you know so you can have a look for yourself if you still have the wheels.
  11. Hehe that's what I thought definitely worthwhile and best $ and 2 hours I spent on the car so far.
  12. Hey Levi here's a photo of my mfd screen after I replaced the film. IMO worthwhile giving it a go and saving the $ for something else.
  13. Yep thought it might have been as it's the main reason why people end up replacing the screens. IMO best to replace the film first and see from there if you still want to replace the screen because the cost difference is huge. I went through the DIY steps and it was pretty straight forward but i know what you mean that it seems a bit daunting. If you wanted, you could post me your screen and I can replace the film, test it on mine to make sure it works properly and that I've got the film on the right way and send it back to you. Then all you would need to do is to plug the screen back in and off you go. Otherwise I could send you some of the film and talk you through it over the phone whilst you're doing it so. Pm if you're interested. Cheers Chris
  14. Is it a case of the polarized film on the screen that has cracked, etc? If so, it's a relatively easy fix to replace the film which makes a hugeeeee difference. I did mine several months ago soon after I bought the car as the film was severely cracked. Took around 2 hours in total to do but most of the time was spent on just removing and cleaning off the old film. I have a fair bit of the film left over from when I did it so would be happy to assist if needed.
  15. Haha never had the spending so wouldn't know what I'm missing out on. Me too, I hope the kid looks like the missus. In case you haven't met me yet you're not missing much except playing the game "try to find his eyes"!
  16. Such a romantic. You can fill us in the next day on how the candlelight dinner when down also Missus fell preggas over the Xmas break so would be good to get a cruise in before she pops one out.
  17. Hi Everyone, As the title states, looking to hold the first cruise (unofficial of course) for the year! Have only met a limited few of the ppl here on the forum so would be great to finally meet up. Would be good to make the most of the good weather before the cold seasons start again by going for a cruise, have a chat and a feed if you are interested. Details as are follows: Date: Sunday, 15th of February 2015 Time: 11:30am meet at the bus stop then head off for the Cotter at 12:00pm. If anyone is interested, then we could have a feed somewhere or if there are enough numbers maybe a BBQ. Who: Open to anyone and everyone in all types of rides (yes, bikes too). Where: Meet at Hindmarsh Bus Stop, cruise the Cotter then lunch (venue TBA) depending on interest and numbers. Note: As stated above this will be an unofficial SAU event so no insurance on the day. I know that there may be some of you who have their cars in the shop or lost their licence so I'm happy to take passengers and there are a few others that will be doing the same (so no excuses)! :mrt: Also just want to stress that no dickhead driving will be tolerated at this cruise as it's mainly intended for us to all meet, chat, feed and get some Vitamin D into us. We've got myself and Rosie confirmed for this and I hear that B-Rice will be making an appearance Plenty of notice this time to hopefully make it a great day out and a great turnout!
