  1. Cheers dan. Was just thinking i am probably going to have to replace injectors and pump to get near 300rwkw so may as well have it all E85 compatible if i decide to go down that route. Anybody feel like swaying my decision on which turbo's to stick with...? -7's or -9's? Looking for 300rwkw with injectors and fuel pump. Sticking with stock AFM's for now as they seem pricey as to replace, not to mention they are physically bigger then the stock units. (So what i need AFM's + piping = $$$) And i would also imaging once you start pushing the stock motor past 330~? It would be smart to rebuild it with forged internals to keep it safe. So thats also a while away...
  2. Just ordered some Tomei Cam Gears~! Builds getting closer, soon as i make a decision whether to keep the -7's or swap them to -9's.

  4. LOL a few years back, I used to thrive off it in year 9-10...thats when it was "good"
  5. Used to be a huge fan of ministry of sound a few years back. I can say they have just gone to shit... That siad, the new spring 2012 annual is half decent.
  6. That is tits. Big fat ogre tits right there. 11.5, really?! Im a bit skeptical, im averaging around 14-15L/100 atm
  7. Builds pretty much on hold till I decide if am gonna send back my -7s for -9s or keep the -7s and stfu. I think I will be doing a fuel pump and id1000's if they do not effect economy too much if at all?
  8. Didn't see a thread regarding what music people are currently listening too. Ill kick it off with a good beat im currently playing, film clip is awesome too!
  9. Are the nismo fuel pumps e85 compatible? Was thinking about getting my setup E85 ready just in case I do the switch over. Otherwise was looking at a walbro 400L wit the id id 1000's. Speaking of which, do -7's respond OK to E85? Are AFM upgrades still required to get more power o E85?
  10. Sweet as! thanks Scotty! I will shop around for some Bosch ID 1000's, see how the old bank account likes it. Still need a fuel pump, what do you fellas recken about the Bosch 040 in tank pumps? Or a walbro? Nismo is expensive, and the bosch 044 is a external, though yes it can be mounted intank, id rather something just drop in and not have to worry about it.
  11. When you fellas are saying ID, you do mean the brand Injector Dynamic's right? As a quick ebay search yielded Boshc branded ID 1000's? Also what is required to install these, new fuel rail or can you use the factory one? Best place to purchase?
  12. Hey all, Had my GTR for about 7 month's and decided to create a thread for my mods/progress on the car. When purchased it had; HKS Pods Exhaust + Hiflow cat Sony Headunit which did not pickup aussie radio Viper Alarm System - the good key fob with the screen has bits of the plastic broken Everything else, stock standard This is the car when i first bought it, It was filthy when i bought it home...it needed a quick wash, unfortunately do not have a before pic. The next day i went out and picked up some fresh oils, Here is the service guide i will be following, which may help other users. I have just made it up myself after researching and asking noob questions. If anything is wrong, by all means. Let me know! Maintenance Guide Engine Oil 7.5-30w Synthetic, Motul 8100 X-Cess 5w-40w Approx 4.6L Gearbox Oil GSL 75-90w Approx 4L Front Diff GL5 85-90 Approx 1L Rear Diff LSD GL5 80-90 Approx 1.5L Transfer Case Nissan Automatic Fluid Type D Approx 1.8L ATTESA System Nissan Automatic Fluid Type D Spark Plugs (.7-.8mm gap) BKR7, PFR7A-11, BCPR7 Scheduled Intervals Engine Oil 5,000kms/6 Months Gearbox Oil 40,000km's/Yearly Front Diff 40,000km's/Yearly Rear Diff 40,000km's/Yearly Transfer Case 40,000km's/Yearly ATTESA System Spark Plugs (.7-.8mm gap) Fuel Filter 100,000kms Oil Filter 10,000kms/Yearly Coolant Every 2 years Oil's Used Engine Oil Motul 8100 X-Cess Gearbox Oil Castrol VMX-M Front Diff Castrol LSX90 Rear Diff Castrol LSX90 Transfer Case Nissan Automatic Fluid Type D Few snaps of the oil changes in place, also where i placed my Jack stands. Highly recommend this little pump as well, Picked it up from supercheap for about $20. Also found my exhaust was a "Ganador" beats if its good or not. While in the mood for maintenance, I also popped off the AFM's and sprayed them with some Brake Cleaner, Carby/Throtlte body cleaner...and to really finish them off some AFM cleaner. All products did the exact same thing, except the AFM cleaner dried quicker. I would just use carby/throttle body cleaner. Its cheaper. Does the same thing. They turned from black to red While i had it up on stands, I was checking my wheel's, front drivers side tie rod end was worn. So ordered one in and swapped it over. Car felt alot more solid/stable on the road now! Worst thing had happened a few weeks into the owning the car. The alarm chucked a fit. Casually driving off in my car and i start hearing a car alarm, not paying too much attention and thinking "Someone's car alarm is going off" ...so did i realise it was mine LOL. Pulled over, popped my bonnet and went to turn it off with the alarm key provided from the previous owner. Turned it to the off position...didn't work. Ended up the switch was broken and could go 360degree's...Sigh. Ended up driving home with the alarm, opening up the siren and it went off. Soon as i put it back together, it went off again, strangest thing. I did notice some damage to the PCB though, Just ended up wacking on some electrical tape for a quick fix to shut the prick up. Few weeks went by, and figured i would give it a polish....Setup a weekend aside to do it, and after alot of elbow grease here are the results. Can't tell to much on camera, but in the flesh its alot nicer to look at Well worth doing it! Next thing on the list, was a bluetooth headunit. It makes work life alot easier being able to drive the car and take a phone call. Best part is, when people ask "Is that your car???" "yes..." "Wow it sounds like a race car!", the sneaky smirks come on my face Didn't get too many pics on removing the dash, but its pretty straight forward. Did snap some pics of my headunit wiring though, I used a Aero Pro wiring harness, soldered the connections to the harness + heatshrink, then wrapped in electrical tape. I also did NOT connect my antenna, as I did not like the look of the antenna sticking up. I still get decent radio reception for those who wonder. The headunit i installed was a pioneer 6450BT. Basic looking unit, 3xpre outs, bluetooth, usb/ipod control, sd card and AUX. Head all the features I wanted at a decent price. Couple of month's went by, and I wanted a better car audio system. I believed i was running stock speakers, and for anybody who has heard them. They are crap. Picked up some Kicker RS60.2 components, a JL Audio amp and some wiring. Good thing about the kicker components, you can mount the tweeter in the speaker itself. I didn't really want to drill into my door trims or alter the stock look of the car too much. Set aside a weekend and began the install, Fresh speaker wiring, RCA's and remote trigger wire all setup. Crappy stocky speakers Found some SUPER dodgey wiring job, which would have been to power a "6 stacker CD changer" which was run to the boot. Needless to say, i removed this crap ass wiring job, the stupid LCD that was stuck onto my ash tray and found they had taken power from my ciggie lighter too. None of it was even soldered!! Grrrr!! Well now with all the wiring fixed up, I felt it was worth doing my own audio install. Custom MDF spacers made up by the old man (Cause im crap with a jigsaw.), used a template that was written up by a fellow forum member, fitted perfectly. Interior all inside, nice and safe Yesterday, my alarm went off again after a buddy pressed the accelerator pedal while it was on remote start. After just throwing in the towel to the system, I cut the speaker wire. Also got a Power FC + Hand controller which i purchased off GTR ZOAH, and a set of -7's brand new in box (Still deciding if i want to use those, or the -9's...tuner says shit all power diff). I got them for a decent price with actuators and gaskets. So might stick with them, still I just want to get the best performance for my $$$$.
  13. More of a update; Tuner reckens stick with the -7's i have gotten...says there is SHIT all difference between the -9's and -7's in terms of overall power. Says all the stock components are good for about 310rwkw, and running 20psi is bad for the stock internals, (well not bad but just shorterns the life quite a bit). Reckens the biggest limiting factor would be having a poor quality cat.
  14. And in reply to the actual topic of the thread... Bought a macbook about a year or two ago to try it out at work. Used it for about a year, got given a PC notebook from the company i work for. Since then, never went back. Depends on use as too which one you prefer/use imo. That said, I will never buy a iPhone, they give you iAids Posted these vids in another thread, but maybe some other users in here might get a kick out of it
  15. Do you get many MMS's? They can chew data if the MMS settings are not entered correctly. Or if you are checking your usage on your phone, make sure syncing is off
  16. I used to play a Plat/Diamond Player back when this game was released....played a few match's now im in Bronze Div 100 If anybody wants to have a game add me Chars Name: Booki Chars Number: 830
  17. Not sure if these have been posted, but it shows how clever Apple consumers are
  18. If anybody hasn't bought it yet, its pretty cheap here for a steam key. http://www.ozgameshop.com/pc-games/borderlands-2-game-code-by-email-pc I think Greenman Gaming might even have it cheaper if you find a 25% coupon.
  19. Anybody looking for a PSU replacement, i think this is a steal..http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=888&products_id=17776 SSD's also just keep dropping in price http://www.onlinecomputer.com.au/product_info.php?products_id=9329
  20. Bit of a update, No refund avialable, but all good working it through with street to track, few miss communication's on my behalf. I believe the correct turbo's i want are the Garrett GT2859R 780371 -1 or the GT2859R 707160 -9. After reading through this mammoth thread http://www.skylinesa...lazy-gt2860-9s/ It looks like i need a decent set of actuators, are the ones included with the -1's alright? I think i will be going a EBC as well, just to keep things stable. Looking at the Greddy Profspec 2. Unless anybody knows of other Garrett turbo's that are superoir to the -9's? From the research i have done the -9's are better then the -7's in everyway (maybe not the exact same response, but 100rpm diff for more power seems like a good trade off) EDIT: Re the recommended 1000 ID injectors, A buddy was telling me going to big of a injector can be a bad thing? It may give me a more rich tune, resulting in less power? Should i be going injectors that are smaller? It doesn't look like there is much difference in price between smaller injectors of larger ones, It would make more sense to just purchase the bigger ones and be done with them. EDIT: Re the fuel pump Bosch 044 intank install, Read the DIY, seems like a bit too much mucking around for me when you can get a pump that will go straight in? Walbro seems alright? http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/walbro-fuel-pump-kit-intank-walbro-gss341-255lph-nissan-180sx-rps13-silvia-ps13-skyline-r32-stagea-wgnc34-p-1079.html The nismo is $594.....eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! Man just can't catch a break $$$ wise with this car!
  21. Just received them now, won't even open the box...forgot to mention they include gaskets as well, if you want the gaskets its a extra $60, so $2170 for the lot. Absolute bargain for brand new 7's with actuators and gaskets! if nobody wants Them I'll just fit the bill and return them.. See pic http://db.tt/mRqzKMBg
  22. Lowest I can sell them for is $2110, if nobody is interested in them I will just send them back to my supplier. Just wanted to avoid additional shipping charges.
