my assumption is because its a straight six so all exhaust outlets are on one side of the engine, therefore it's easier and more efficient to just merge the two front pipes in to one pipe to the rear. If it was a V6/8/whatever, then exhaust outlets would be on either side of the engine, so possible easier to run exhausts straight through from each side. If you get what im saying.

I was told that most of the early R32 GTRs had the N1 blocks in them, basically because they were true homologated (spelling?) specimins. How you would tell I have no idea.

yea i hate the SUVs too... I hate them in real life, and I hate them in this game. However, drifting down the mountains is tops... My other gripe is there are no controlled drags, you always have to avoid stuff... I wish they had like a drag competition on a controlled strip so you could guage actual 1/4 mile times etc... Apart from that it's heaps of fun... My RX8 is the shit hehehe

I reckon that dip at around 5000 is probably more likely dodgy coil packs... mine has the same problem... Does it pop at around 5000RPM? If so, there are numerous threads on how to fix that problem (just havent got around to doing it personally)... Good luck.

Terrible Tragedy... I remember the first time I saw that car, it blew my mind (was working in a petrol station when it came in)... Amazing car... It's so easy to say "It won't happen to me", but it can, and if you're not careful, probably will. I realy feel for his family and friends right now.

yea... I'm pretty sure its up around 40psi, as most of the evidence seems to suggest. I remember Neil Crompton saying this at this years indy.

Does your engine 'pop' alot? If so could be dirty plugs... Could it also be the coil packs? This happened to me really badly, so replaced the plugs and cleans the coil packs with contact cleaner and it seemed to fix it. I'm probably way off though.

Personally, I think DC is a waste of space. He comes out EVERY year saying, "I know I was crap last year, but this year will be my year", and never delivers. The only thing Coulthard is useful for is the experience, and Williams have enough of that already. Coulthard would be ideal for a team like Red Bull so he can pass on his knowledge of the tracks/setups etc before he retires in the not too distant future. It really puzzles me as to who Williams are going to recruit as "driver 2" as there isn't much more talent out there. Heidfeld was thrown around before, but I'm guessing he's staying at Jordan since Briscoe didn't get the drive... Pizzonia is unprofessional as was said before, and Alex Davidson seems to get over looked every year. Anyway, my 2c (at work and bored), but I look forward to next year and yes, I'm going to Melbourne too! Accomodation is booked, working on flights and tickets.

As I understand it, it is illegal in NSW to leave a car running while unattended... and rightly so. It's similar to that law that says it's illegal to leave a car unlocked if you're more than 10m away (it might be 5m)...
