I herd disapointing reviews of the RE01's from the racers at superlap on the GTR's. The times confirm the poor performance. The Falkins were much better. I had just purchased R1R's from the first Australian batch and they are simply amazing. I highly recomend you try and get a set of them.

Hey guys, I just thought id post up my latest experience with Toyo Proxes R1R's. I have driven many cars on many diffrent tyres this includes race cars and race tyres and i have to say I have never driven on a street tyre that offers such amazing performance. It has the grip of a quality semi comp with the noise and comfort of a performance street tyre. I can not recomend these tyres any higher. They are far superior to the Bridgestone RE01's and they have a tread wear rating of 140. I will be using these tyres in the future for daily driving and track days when racing in street tyre catogry. I am running a 235/45/17. Can not review on any other sizes at this stage.

Same as you man 17x9 +22. Fit perfectlty with a stretched tyre and a bit of camber front and rear.

Gues whos back and better than ever? Although on street tyres this thing has sooo much grip, much more than big dread infact it jumps out of the corners like some gtr's ive driven. Expecting a good 1.25 -1.26 at Sandown on 160kw next year when it goes back to vic.

It is a big turbo for a 20. But yeah id keep checking.

A 25 spools up a 3037 no probs. Lag would not be an issue yet.

HKS 256 in and out will be all you will need cams wise. You will NOT need vavle springs. You might want to think about changing your oil pump. I recomend a billit one from Race Pace. NOT tomie, jun or N1. You might want to think about forged internals. You definatly need a 3037 or bigger 3540 from horspower in a box. Your current turbo will sell easy. Do that and you will have 330 with ease.
