  1. thanks for sharing longinus some of my friends pics (DIY website) http://jamesjeges.co...folder=goodPics http://jamesjeges.com/winton/?folder=belowThreshold (blurries)
  2. Higher revs at lower speeds and warm humid air wasnt doing the turbos any favours. Was in the pulsar, not sure why it says that. Im not even sure I did 20 laps either hmmmm. But yeah, you can see on the results the crazy mix of times with classes. the next fastest car from me in the Newbies class was 5 secs quicker, and then another 5 secs for the next fastest.
  3. Heaps of fun. id never driven there before and found it pretty tough. Plenty of cars had issues, but luckily no major oil spills. Warm air and long sessions took their toll on most of the cars, I had to practice the ol' hot and cold laps. anyone interested? (whoops, sorry its so big) Phillip Island Classic was awesome last year (and free) so pretty keen for this, but is $40 for Sunday.
  4. friend of mine got a few good pics, will share link when theyre up
  5. FWD burnouts are ok though *thumbs up*
  6. yeah there were shitload of cars. they ran 15min sessions in 7 groups. I left before it finished but at least 4-5 sessions with only a few hold-ups. didnt even have lunch break.
  7. haha I remember reading through the booklet they sent out and so many clauses ended referring to nuclear weapons
  8. is it possible to get a Queen for both nights? pretty please
  9. prepped the car today, gonna trailer it for a change. getting pumped
  10. so why selling only engine and gearbox? what's plans?
  11. if you want... (cause im a donating member on Pulsar group) I can post an advert for you. just need an email address or contact number and an ad. shit will get snapped up like hotcakes.
  12. was more poking fun at 99% of evos being modified. but yes, there isn't enough love for pulsars round here. would liked to have made it to airport runs and earn some brownie points. oh well might have to do a 1/4 mile
  13. I tried Coles brand ravioli last week cause it was half the price of the San remo stuff. started boiling the water put the pasta in watch water change colour as the pasta bursts open drain pasta of water and floating meat chunks Bon appetite
  14. stock evo is like hot Amish girl, even if there was one, why would you want it? this is my fourth (and final) year at TAFE. Adv Diploma. I'll die before I go back... however, work pays me to go, pays for the course and even payed kms to drive from edithvale to Heidelberg for a 1 week block every month. so can't really complain. problem with employer-funded courses is Workplace Assessments yayyy. took me 8 months to compile, fill-in and submit a document providing evidence and explanations to most of my work tasks for the last 4 years. everyone loves paperwork that has to be hand written. uni kids have the luxury of computers while TAFE barely trust our own handwriting lol. I never even got my pen licence in grade 4. why am I still talking...
  15. aint that the truth. I dated one (girl, not the grandma) and grandma was disapproving to say the least. I had a beard (never earns brownie points with the elderly) and trying to describe what I did for a living in cantonese was a challenge apparently.
  16. just a word of warning, they charge per 250g and so you say "oh thats not too bad *shrug*" but if you go over, they charge for another 250g (or some shit) So dont be surprised when it costs $28 for 3 people to have flavoured yogurt with chocolate sauce. it is fun for a once-off thoug
  17. fixed. Big Mouth in St Kilda has good value food. If you venture towards Balaclava, Gattica has brilliant food and arguably incredible coffee. Theres also a weird yogurt place in Balaclava called Yo-Chi, which is pretty intense. http://www.yochi.com.au/products.php
  18. for something different food-wise in CBD try Passionflower for dessert platters and stuff. definitely unique. For a good good cocktail bar, look up Berlin Bar. If you like beer and are in St Kilda, cant go wrong with 600 Beers
  19. oh shit man! sorry! had no idea. Guy in a mini in the other lane was pretty close and givin me a greasy for swinging wide, so backed up, thought it was just the gutter. PM me Also worth mentioning that I noticed when I got home that both my reverse lights have gone :S
  20. thanks to the committee and organisers for er... organising. Saw someone with a tri-pod doing a pseudo aerial shot, keen to to see the result!
  21. i was thinking the same thing. I have signed up and I'm pretty sure you have to declare you own it etc. and similar with free tracks on Last.fm, its available to download for personal use, but you'd have to seek permission to play in public or endorsing something etc.
  22. I know some bands if you want music with permission. PM me
