nissky replied to Majanal's topic in Events Archive
thanks dan for organising this i'm hooked; i'll be there for the next one, i thought i was going alright until scott took me around in his r32, my brakes were just warm after my last session haha -
yeh your car was slow ;p do you want to swap turbos? my boost controller stopped working after the second session, so i was running 7psi for the rest of the day , stupid r34 actuator! i hope you fixed and it was just a leak, i want a real ride :burnout: next time

R32 Gts-t Remapped Chip
nissky replied to nissky's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
32rwkW no way ;p maybe 15...the midrange response was more impressive than outright power the chip is tuned for standard injectors and standard fuel pump on a stock turbo running 14psi, also tuned for 98 octane (instead of japanese 100) id say its a hell of a lot better than the stock chip with a t3/t4 turbo pm me an offer, you will have to solder a chip socket onto your ecu, and then you just plug this in.... -
I have a r32 gts-t modified chip, that i dont need as i have upgraded. Mapped for; 14psi on stock turbo, exhaust. Also boost cut raised, speed limit raised, rev limit raised... i used for a year and worked great. This is the chip only, not the whole ecu :uh-huh: Tuned by Dr Drift. Sell for best offer. (im in sydney)

thats perfectly normal 1kg at idle 3kg at 2000rpm 4 kg at 6000rpm

Yeh its a pain, took me hours to take off the first time. The are two coolant lines (on either side of turbo) and two oil lines (one on top and one on the bottom). All lines use banjo bolts setup except the bottom one, the bottom one is the oil drain line and has two bolts either side of the pipe. I managed to get it off from the top, but only by looking from underneath first to see how it looked...if you cant figure it out check it out from underneath the car its clearly visible as its connects directly to the bottom of the engine block...

Att: whiteline susp kit owners
nissky replied to Roy's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hi, i got the whole whiteline package a while ago, i must have got it right after you tested it cause i got it for free labour and 25% of parts, since they were still checking out the settings and whether they could go lower....etc... Anyway, i had very very bad axle tramp before the kit, but my shocks were pretty much rooted back then... After the kit (with their recommended settings) i still had a bit of axle tramp sometimes with 17inch wheels and 245's at rear. I have gone back to 16inch stockies, and dont really get much tramp at all but i havent really lauched hard for a while though...ask me on thursday ;p In hind sight i should have gone for adjustable shocks instead, but its too late now for me...go adjustables... Oh by the way, why does my car handle better with 16's??? and 205/55/16 tyres? -
the pressure should be rising as boost rises....for stock regulator, eg at 12psi boost your fuel pressure should be around 55psi my stock pump wasnt keeping up.... at 0psi (around 43psi) at 5psi (around 48psi) at 10psi (around 53psi) its a 1 to 1 relationship with the stock regulator

great, deposit in i have done wakefield once and that was fine, i think eastern creek is a little more daunting for a newbie though, im just going to be cruising around mostly although my rears wont pass next rego so have to use them up oil, brake fluid, and bring helmet, octane booster and L plates -

I want a medium sized front mount kit, the ones with the inlet/outlet on left hand side for r32 gts-t.

Alarm is good but it can still be stolen easily, no matter what model most installers will wire them up the same/similar way. It only stops young kids stealing them or in high profile areas like busy car parks/streets.... Im soo paranoid i installed a second one myself, didnt cost too much.....just time....
-
damn... not good to hear, and at only 11, well at least you got 20K out of it im still going to keep using my 11 low and 13 high boost settings (r34 turbo) :uh-huh: , cause im really not impressed with it until after 10psi (how quickly mods feel slow after you get use to them!) i'll start my hks2530 turbo fund now

Is this at the right at the front of the car at the bottom of the radiator? If it is, (its plastic) sounds like the radiator drain plug and it shouldnt leak.... just try to tighten it bit... If you take it off to check the thread you will have to refill the radiator with coolant...
-
yeh i just checked the rear one allows fuel into the rail from the fuel filter, and the front one returns fuel to the tank..... seeing as the rear would see slighty higher boost (due to boost signal coming from in front of throttle body) and always flow more i guess the front one will actually do the fuel pressure regulating?? (i think from the way its plumbed, rear one increases flow as boost increases, and front one decreases return flow as boost increases)

hi joel, i have the same looks like two regulators and they are both stock, i cant figure out what that second one does

test driving??? opinions please
nissky replied to WHITE R32's topic in General Automotive Discussion
i wouldn't buy it if i wasnt able to drive it, also i wouldnt fork over $$$ just to test drive it.... use your discretion about whether they are really interested in buying it, when a buyer is really interested in a particular car they check everything thoroughly not just kick the tyres and ask for the keys i would take them for a long drive first, let them think about it if they come back then i would let them have a short drive also ask them if they have checked out other r32's...if they havent then they likely wont buy yours...people dont usually buy the first example they see.......(unless they come back ;p) -
ill give you 20 for a r32 gearstick boot hahaha

so its the wrx + $4000 for the skyline right?
