could have been because of my O2 sensor being faulty, either way the whole thing did the trick. Good to hear you are getting 450kms+ on a tank

Rocker Cover Gasket Question And Some Others
milanr34 replied to Ericjayrol's topic in General Maintenance
scratch the above, realised the old ones are still there -
I would suggest to do a 100k service and check all your piping. I used to be lucky if i can get 300km out of my 34gtt while babying it. Replaced the sparkies, coil pack, belts, oil, o2 sensor, waterpump etc etc....reset the computer and now with babying i can get over 500 a tank (my maths being i was babying it till the half way mark and i did 275kms - not the most accurate but will do hehe)

Rocker Cover Gasket Question And Some Others
milanr34 replied to Ericjayrol's topic in General Maintenance
nice info - agree with kitto... although I need to ask does the Neo use the half moon seals? when i took off my cover there wasn't any there, so i just replaced the outer seals with the silicone and i have no problems or oil leaks -
i've called racv out of curiosity. 26yr old male no prev accident history etc etc....they have no "market value" for the r34 gtt so on an agreed value of $16.5k it came to be just under $1,200 a year.....which isn't bad really. Called up justcar they wanted $2.8k.....go figure, ill probably go with racv

I'll tell you how I bleed it as that is how I did it on my 31, 32 and my BMW 320i. (ASK AROUND JUST TO BE SURE HOW OTHERS DO IT) - Car is cold, open radiator cap and turn car on. - Wait couple of minutes and put the heater on hot and full blast - You will see bubbles coming out of the radiator - rev engine slightly once or twice (only by 500rpm) - Wait until no more bubbles are coming out put radiator cap on See if you can have somebody look at the water pump asap, because i've had a similar problem then water pump was completely gone then radiator started overheating

Hey bud, I've had a similar problem where it took so long to get the heat, but also even if i was to put it to 28degrees it didn't feel like it. I had to replace the waterpump, after that everything worked fine. But as John said make sure you bleed your system.

Hi all, I've had a 31, 32 and a 33 Skyline (Gxe, gtst type-m and gtst s2) and now im in the process of getting a 34gtt. I've searched the forums but I couldn't find any information on extending the seat rails so the seat can be pushed back a little more. Being 196cm has its advantages but good god it does have its draw backs. I can still drive the car, however would be a lot easier if the seat was just moved back a little more. Does anybody know if this can be done? I've searched the web but with most findings it can be done (alas i only found it on Toyota's). Not too sure but thought some cars have clips in the railings that can be taken out so it gives an extra 2-5cm (ive herd it from somebody but cant be sure). Thanks in advance.
