  1. Yes I love the DR Cost me way more than I'd get for her at the moment and I still have a "to do " list. Fitted lower springs and she's still sitting at stock height. So that has to be sorted next week
  2. Give us all a break Dennis Stop being a know it all grouch and get your own life. You're spoiling this corner of SAU (IMHO)

  6. Due to a comedy of errors finally got my DR30 back on the road after nearly 9 months. Fitted a new turbo and intercooler setup and took the car to a recommended workshop to have the Autronics unit fitted. After the car being pushed out of the workshop every day for 3 months and sitting on a bush block with virtually nothing being done I took the car off them. Another workshop took the project on and it took them 4 month to get the car running. I've now spent 12 hours reassembling the car (why can't mechanics put covers etc back on when they're finished) and cleaning the car to get her back to where I had her. What a relief that there is no long term damage to the paint after vitually sitting out in the sun for 3 months over summer. On a more positive note the car drives great with 220rwhp which is a lot more than it had previously. The tuner says the injectors are maxed out so changing them would net me a lot more power I'll consider that but want to just enjoy the car for a while. Missus thinks I have too many toys and wants me to sell to spend on and make room for my R33 GTR 3 cars and a Motorbike into a 2 1/2 car garage don't go
  7. I agree with Dennis Would be a VH45 for me Like the idea of keeping it in the Nissan Family
  8. While initially I prefered the idea of an RB transplant I've got to admit this is a fantastic conversion. With the right diff ratio it will be awesome. Well done Ricky

  15. Forget Super Taxi racing that I can only watch for 30minutes before boredom or a need to mow the lawn takes over. I could watch this varied type of racing all day Brilliant
  16. Could someone Fast this Chassis number please? DR30-042649
  17. Hey Dennis My car body number is DR30-042649 What can you tell me about it using FAST? All I know is it's a '84 (I think) Cheers
  18. Mine cost me far more than that on the road here but I would be lucky to get $10-12k for it
  19. Geez $6k for that is about $3k too much!!
  20. Hi Dan Option one but cleared to make cleaning easier or option 3 for me I've seen these gold and am not a fan
  21. Once apon a time they did Now that the V8 taxis aren't coming to Perth shouldn't it be renamed the Two Thirds Australian Supercar series ? (by area)
  22. Bring back racing the way it used to be in Australia. Ford/Holden/Nissan/BMW/Jags/Mazdas etc etc all vying for the first corner For me the V8 supertaxis are just so boring...they all look the same. Can't even follow a driver as one year they're in a Holden next a Ford and then back again. The appeal was the diversity of the cars and their strengths and weaknesses...cars with straightline speed being hounded by smaller nimble cars in the twisties . Not over regulated racing where one car gets a poofteenth of a second advantage and then is handicapped. A big thankyou to Cazz and people like her who put their money where our mouths are and invest in preserving the history of racing in theis country. For the record I was 32 when the DR retired and raced against people such as George Fury in a few rallies and managed the beat him in a couple of bitumen special stages(my backyard special died couple of stages later :-( ).Great bloke and so approachable
  23. Holy thread revival I count 6 years! The dealer could've passed away by now
