  1. 4 x 17" V35 rims - rears are 17x8 +33, fronts are 17x7.5 +30 - 5 x 114.3 PCD & 66mm centre hub. These are the OEM rims off a V35 350GT non-premium coupe, but will fit many other models. plus 2 x Toyo Proxes R1R 235/40ZR17 road-legal semi-slick tyres, fitted to front rims but not to car - never been used plus 2 x Toyo Proxes R1R 245/40ZR17 road-legal semi-slick tyres, fitted to rear rims but not to car - never been used The rims are in pretty good condition. They had a little bit of rash on the outer lips when I bought them, but I sanded it back & touched them up with a brush - they were track rims so I wasn't too fussed. The tyres were bought brand new earlier this year, then fitted to the rims & balanced, ready for hillclimbs & track days this year. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, so the tyres haven't even been on the car. On an impulse I've bought an Akebono big brake kit, and the 17" rims won't fit over the front calipers - my loss can be your gain. If you plan to hillclimb or track your car, these tyres will give you a huge advantage over street tyres. I'm after $1000 for the lot, ready to bolt onto your car & go to the track. If there's no interest in these as a package I will consider separating tyres & rims, and also selling the tyres in pairs. I bought slightly different sizes because the V35 has a staggered fitment, and wanted to maintain that. The sizes I have are a lot closer front-rear than the stock sizes, and I would be happy to run them on any non-AWD skyline. Interested - reply here or call me on 0418 841 730. Pics available if required. Pickup from Golden Grove. Perfect for the SAU SA track day:)
  2. Can you get 235/40's for the front - the diameter is fairly close to 225/45, and only 10mm wider.
  3. Same mods as yours, plus new cop's (6), new unobtainium plugs, turbo hard pipes, and evo bov, and an exhaust.
  4. He was first on Friday so they took ages trying to work out why the power was so low - was under 100 before the tune. Finished around 130, which he thinks is 160ish, through the auto trans. On sat night they reflashed the trans ecu to change shift points and shift peed. Overall a big improvement, but Its still a magna:) Steve said he was looking into v35ecu tuning.
  5. Assume you had it tuned at MTA the other week - was 170 the actual dyno figure or the calculated figure', knowing the dyno was Reding low. Interested in what the actual was to compared to another.
  6. Non brembo is296mm x 24mm thick
  7. My trans fluid goes through the new cooler first, then the radiator, so it wouldn't be adding a lot of heat to the coolant. Its only got hot a couple of times, both on extreme heat days (one was 45 degrees, the other 42 or so) when under load. Daily driving isn't an issue - the gauge sits a fraction under half. I'm just concerned that a track day will be a major problem, and want a bit more cooling ability. I really don't think it's a bleed problem, I just think the cooling system isn't quite good enough for extreme conditions. I will put an oil cooler in before I do a track day, but I will probably also get a larger radiator. I've found some 40mm V35 ones, so I might try one. Thanks for the input - it was helpful. NC - where did you mount the oil cooler? I'm running out of space as I've already fitted a large trans cooler on the LHS, and a larger than stock Power Steering cooler on the RHS.
  8. Me too, but it's almost worth $175 to find out. My centre brake light isn't working, so it's cheaper than replacing that.
  9. My son found this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/INFINITI-G35-2DR-03-05-OE-STY-TRUNK-SPOILER-WING-PAINTED-KY0-BRILLIANT-SILVER-/181046513619?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a27368fd3&_uhb=1#ht_2122wt_1304 Already painted in KYO silver - very tempted.
  10. I have a few questions about fitting an aluminium radiator to my 03 coupe. My temp has drifted upwards several times over the summer, mostly when pushing hard on very hot days. Because I do some events in the car I want to try & stop this, and I'm thinking of replacing the radiator with a larger, more efficient one. Does a 350Z alloy radiator fit into the V35, and are any mods needed. I'm looking at a 50 / 52mm thick core. There are a lot of 350Z radiators available. Has anyone fitted an alloy radiator to a V35, and what effect did it have on temps? My car is auto, and I've fitted a large auto trans cooler, in addition to the one in the radiator. Any thoughts on whether I need an auto radiator, or just a manual one with the external cooler? Cheers
  11. My Whiteline swaybars arrived on Friday - ended up paying $472 for front & rear adjustable bars, including delivery. I installed them today - around 2 hrs all up for both bars. I've got them both set on the softest setting, and the car is noticeably stiffer than with the OEM bars. Went for a quick drive through the hills & it sits flatter through corners. The big test will be the next event.
  12. after Easter Next year? Easter has been & gone this year.
  13. When grounding cont1 which forces the nav screen to display the aux video signal, does it also switch the OEM head unit to aux or leave it alone? In my Bose equipped coupe, when I ground cont1 to display the reverse camera on the nav screen, the audio isn't affected - ie the radio (or whatever is runnimg at the time) stays on.
  14. Found this on ebay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/140679000704?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619 That's a good enough price for me, so I've ordered them. Sale ends today or tomorrow (says 1 day left??).
  15. Thanks - I've sent Daleo a PM
  16. Thanks Scotty, but who is Daleo? Can you give me a bit more info about the underbody bracing - what does it do (brace the underbody, but how / where)?
  17. I've got a 2003 coupe, and I do some motorsport events in it - nothing too serious, just low-level gymkhana / motorkhana / hillclimb & the like. I'd like to tweak the suspension a bit, but I don't want coilovers or to go any lower than it is now. I'm thinking about aftermarket swaybars, and wanted some input on what is the best bang for my buck. I put a Whiteline adjustable rear bar in a Celica GT4 last year, and it improved the handling noticeably. Which would be the first bar you'd replace in a V35 - front or rear? What brand, and where to buy it? Thanks in advance, Geoff

  19. If you are asking where to buy air, oil & fuel filters for a 350GT (rather than a GT350), you can buy Ryco air & oil filters from just about any auto parts shops - Repco, Supercheap, Autobahn etc. The oil filter is a Z445, and the air filter is an A360. Each filter will cost $10 - $15. I don't know of a fuel filter, and am not even sure if it can be replaced.
  20. Yo-yo, If you look at the power to weight specs in the video, they are listed in kg/ps - ie kilograms per horse. Although they call it a power to weight ratio, it's actually a weight to power ratio, so the lower number is better. The coupe is 4.96, and the sedan is 5.07 - that tells me that the coupe has less kg per ps, or a better power to weight ratio than the sedan.
  21. This webpage - http://nissan.epc-data.com/skyline/v35/6815-vq25dd/body/680/68520/ suggests that it is either 250GTM Navi Edition or 350GT Premium Leather Package (as opposed to CLAS8 which is Premium Spec). I found another page that says it's navi edition for a Stagea NM35, so that ties in with the above. Do you have factory nav?
  22. Thanks Brad. Any idea what brand / model of GPS would be suitable - getting sick of looking at a blue GPS background:)
  23. I saw this pic on a Gumtree ad, and wonder if anyone knows how this would be done? The same car also has a TV reciever which also outputs to the screen.
  24. Well done Rob
