R34 Gtt Auto's

Hi All,

My next car will be an R34 GTT which I will go looking for in the next few months... At the moment, I'm liking the sound of the auto due to what sort of driving I do to and from work etc...

Anyways, I just want to know what sort of power the gearboxes can handle / does anyone know if they are supposed to be pretty strong for a GTT + mods etc... I would assume that because the auto came out in some of the GTT's that it would be a fairly strong box.

If anyone can shed some light, that would be great.

apprently they can handle up to 270rwkw then they spit it.

i would doubt 270rwkw personally.

the elec boxes are hardly the strenghth of the non-elec Jatco's found in the VL/R31
