you embarressed about going to WSID?

then u must not have much self confidence... and the street is nothing but bumps and holes!

can you do 160km/h+ easily on the street with no worry about hitting anything? its nothing compared to the smooth surface of WSID, once you try it you wont race on the street again!

my self confidence is fine thats what my shrink tells me anyway

its just not my zone brother

how come gtr has nothing to say now?!

Cause he is not really here...Ludacris rang him up and said "Yo got fo minutes man" so he ran out the front door of his house boat pulling on his tshirt as he went, hence forgetting to turn off his computer

no i'm not... but come to runs this saturday nite and i'll race the r34

are you coming to autosalon 2006 to compete against my aerotop supra with vertical doors, 1st grade leather interior, one piece mould veilside widebody and bodykit, 21" rims, $6000 sound system?

From the Supra Forums... and the car is owned by a GIRL...

As a joint project with hi power racing (www.hipowerracing.com) i would like to inform you with a tease of what i will be doing to my much loved supra in the months to come.

after waiting six months i finally get my front cut today, this takes so long as finding a supra damaged is near on impossible, but mission was accomplished with the help of ivan. Which means my car will be in one peice again   and no more jealous boyfriends are aloud near my car  pm for more details

as you know i have a gt300 wide body kit by topsecret, which will make her look like the beast she is, i have my keen eye on set of volk gtc face 2 (size will be determined when i get the body kit fitted on the car, so we can measure off set etc)

below is a little list of what is happening to the engine there is more to come but these are just the teasers, the rest of the modifications will be let known to people as they are done to the engine. Ps, this is not my wish list this is my engine list

Jun 3.2 L Stroker Kit, pistons con'rod crankshaft, crankshaft sprocket wheel,

valve lifter, shim, O/H gasket kit, and more too much to type will be put on to a base engine

followed by processing such as cylinder boring honing, crankshaft ASSY balance, valve grinding and much more.

As we are using a used engine the engine will be basically rebuilt, that is what ever is not getting modified will be like new. Add to this a T88 38GK Kit, intercooler kit, radiator, 1000cc Injectors, HKS F-CON V PRO ver 3, V PRO Base, fuel regulator, SARD 265L Fuel pump, Triple clutch, and this is only the beggining (do not have the patience of sitting here and writing out the whole qoute again as i am a lazy lazy person hehe  )

I am considering painting the car hot candy pink as pink is for fast cars and pink is a girls colour (my fav also)

Before meeting ivan at hi power racing i called many well known australian workshops to give me prices and quotes to which my dreams became shattered then earlier in the year when i met ivan my dreams became reality and now i am under way to having my dream supra.

If work goes well for me in the next few months you can expect to see the car up in autosalon 2006 as that will be the first day out, though plans are going accord i should have her before january (no rush as this is a project car) i will keep you posted with pictures and more posts.

Looks like you will have competition...

she got the go tho... :D

    • Look for broken wire or bad connector at the motor. Might not be it, but is worth starting there, as it is easy.
    • Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my R32 GT-R. Sometimes, when the car goes over a bump or experiences some vibration, the 4WD warning light comes on the dashboard. When I check the code from the control unit in the trunk, it shows Code 19 – ETS Motor. However, everything seems to be working fine — if I turn off the engine and restart the car, the light goes away and everything functions normally. Has anyone experienced this before? Where should I start troubleshooting this issue? Thanks in advance!
    • I'm back from the dyno - again! I went looking for someone who knew LS's and had a roller dyno, to see how it shaped up compared to everything else and confirm the powerband really is peaking where Mr Mamo says it should. TLDR: The dyno result I got this time definitely had the shape of how it feels on the road and finally 'makes sense'. Also we had a bit more time to play with timing on the dyno, it turns out the common practice in LS is to lower the timing around peak torque and restore it to max after. So given a car was on the dyno and mostly dialled in already, it was time for tweaking. Luis at APS is definitely knowledgable when it came to this and had overlays ready to go and was happy to share. If you map out your cylinder airmass you start seeing graphs that look a LOT like the engine's torque curve. The good thing also is if you map out your timing curve when you're avoiding knock... this curve very much looks like the inverse of the airmass curve. The result? Well it's another 10.7kw/14hp kw from where I drove it in at. Pretty much everywhere, too. As to how much this car actually makes in Hub Dyno numbers, American Dyno numbers, or Mainline dyno numbers, I say I don't know and it's gone up ~25kw since I started tinkering lol. It IS interesting how the shorter ratio gears I have aren't scaled right on this dyno - 6840RPM is 199KMH, not 175KMH. I have also seen other printouts here with cars with less mods at much higher "kmh" for their RPM due Commodores having 3.45's or longer (!) rear diff ratios maxing out 4th gear which is the 1:1 gear on the T56. Does this matter? No, not really. The real answer is go to the strip and see what it traps, but: I guess I should have gone last Sunday...
    • 310mm rotors will be avilable from Australia, Japan, and probably a few other places. Nothing for the front can be put on the back.
    • The filter only filters down to a specific size. Add to that, the filter is AFTER the pump. So it means everything starts breaking your pump even if its being filtered out.
