YAY, I am so happy that funky was able to deliver so quickly after my payment, he is the best trader that i have ever ever delt with and was soooo soo good with communication that i want to have his babies.

now I'm getting a bit worried about you Alex.. Oh, sarcasm!

As Gwen Stefani put it....

Take a chance you stupid hoe

i think the fact he is a moderator in other sections (especially the for sale one) is pretty f*kt up, and warns of potential scammers hehe, sounds familiar to me. i reckon every single member who has paid and got nuthin should email or PM Prank the forum owner and let him know and ask for his moderating privilages to be removed if he treats forum members like idiots.

i am currently waiting on a copy of the stagea rb25 ecu pinouts in english as well, plus a couple of other very handy wiring diagrams for abs, etc. few days and i should have them for sure. im paying good money for these but i need them to finish my wiring off.

how about some fellow eastern staters go round and give funky a house visit and a friendly reminder that he owes about 14 different people money or a CD each

cruiseliner, when you get the stagea RB25 ecu pinouts are you willing to share?

dunno yet, considering im paying for them and then everyone else wants them for nuthin, if others pay for other sections to veiw ill possibly do a swap for another section, as im getting it from the new zealand website that translate manuals, and its $5 a section, so buy some other diagrams i havent got and ill swap for sure  slowly everyone will build up more and more info on stageas then for a quarter of the cost of buying all the manual pages myself.

guys, the manuals were sent out last week. You should have them by now. Please PM me if you haven't got them with your addy so I can double check they were sent to the right place.

Here's the ECU pinout. image is blurry, I'll see if I can upload a clearer pic.

The pinout is for a series 1 RB25/RB25DET ECU. Were you guys after the Series 2 one?

hey funky that series 1 pinout is very helpful, except can u please post up the rest of the pin descriptions for pin 67 upto pin 124 as they must be on the next page.

hope u can help as i need it asap to finish my ecu wiring off. hopefully the cd arrives soon too and i can check abs wiring etc too.

could u put up a wiring diagram of the attessa (ETS) ecu pinouts (same as ABS ecu i think) as well pleasse :P

thanks

Brad

series 1 and series 2 are almost identical except the series 2 has a couple of extra pins that are used. so that r34 english diagram tells ya pretty much every pin and what it does :P

found the 3 wires from the engine ecu to the attessa ecu.

pin 5 - tachometer drive signal (blue/white)

pin 37 - throttle opening signal (purple/white)

pin 43 - sensor ground (orange/blue)

finally after 12 months of hunting i have some reliable info on the pinouts :D

    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
    • BTW I measured the jack I have, it is 70mm at the saddle but you only have about 700 until it returns to 150mm high at the cylinder so it is good but no magic bullet.
