Hey guys i bought a power fc for my manual R33 s2 and took it to the mechanic to tune it. Since the time we fitted the power fc to my car engine check light and exhaust tempreture light is on and wont go off after tuning it too..

What could be the problem?

Any one with the same problem?

the power fc light is on if sensor is faulty i have 32 with neo i i got rid of all tracton controll shit hense the light is always on ime going through and wiring all sensors back in so no light power fc has sensor check mode where u can see what voltage sensors are doing also if one is outside the paremeter it will set it off as well

any questions on this pm me

have u tried a searcH? this is covered in the unofficial apexi power fc faq (in my signature). the check engine light will stay on if you have the boost kit turned on (and arent using it), disable it. unplug the exhaust temp sensor, its useless, two wires where the catalyic converter is

Strange, do you notice anything else wrong or not working? What is the water temp reported by the hand controller under MONITOR, WATERTEMP ?

Is it 414-N012 or 414-AN012 ? What version is reported by ETC, VERSION

very odd. what was $1000 for exactly? what did they check/do ?

has it been tuned completely or still on stock maps?

does the car drive ok? im assuming this light goes away with stock ecu ?

sounds like your getting ripped.

$1000 is f**ked.

My tuner hit me $300 for a shit tune that I could have done by hitting the keyboard of my laptop with my cock.

anyway, yeah, dude, read the faqs.. Look at the sensor readout on the powerfc and look for any erroneous values on monitor side of the powerfc..

f**k, I reckon I'd have it fixed in an hour.. I should start my own shop..

I went 2 the best two tuners in melbourne..I dont want to mention the names but what they did say was the power fc was faulty.

They tuned it half way didnt do a full tune...For the stock ecu its fine...

    • Because sometimes I do dumb shit and because I kept thinking about 6.6kWh worth of PVs wouldn't be fully enough if I'm consuming during the day as well as charging. So I did a thing, added another 5kW of PVs lol. Since there's a spare MPPT port, why the fk not?

    • The alloy coolant reservoir has a sight glass, so as long as I can see coolant in the sight glass it's GTG, as for PS, it isn't anything catastrophic if it gets low, and as it hasn't lost a drop since I have owned the car I cannot see it being an issue, even after putting the "big block" 2.5 in....LOL The only time it gets slightly messy is at oil changes, as the oil filter sits above the frame, and I need to use a plastic bottle with its bottom cut off to catch the flow when loosening the filter
