I have a Friend in japan, and he part runs this business so with his help i can bring you a great deal on them.

They are made for ANY car made in japan. But am only doing SKYLINES, cause to be honest thats all i care about, lol

They come as white faced this is standard form

priced at $110 including All shipping, EMS, domestic postage in japan.

And insurance and Express postage from me.

I did not think about all this stuff. it was 1:30 in the morning when i came up with this. i am sorry! hahaha i got in trouble from mike, cause i would have been out of pockit alot, so i had a 30min phone call with him to japan :)

And he broke all the costs down for me.

They are still at cost price, and are bloody great...

then they will all be sent to me after deal closes, and i will send them out my self!

All dials are BRAND NEW and require you to pop out ya dials, they are made to slip over your stock ones, you dont even need to take off ya needle.

Takes about 20min to do and will change the look of your dash heaps!

Ok, you can also get other than white. as in this pic, this is a small price of $40 you can have any of the colours listed.

awesome, that's a lot cheaper than the price they quote me for our custom SAU ones.

how much will it be including shipping?

Also how much to include a custom logo (its possible according to cyberstork).

I'll take one for an R32 GTS4.

Yes; I'd like to see these on the R34GTT dash and tri-gauge lot... photo without the lights on, and a photo with the lights on.

The only concern I have is the backlighting and how this would affect it. Other than that I am very keen  Thank you for organizing this btw!

Yeah, this was also my main concern, the back lighting of it on the R33.

Photo's of both on and off would be appreciated.

there just white/coloured gauge faces guys and they aren't backlit like EL ones, the notches for the numbers allow some light through from the cluster. They allow the same amount of light through as stock gauges, so they're not gonna be any brighter.

ok, so if its just to go over the top of the stock ones that are in place of the r33 gtst skyline, the currently lights that light up the dash area would be used.

however, what lights/bulbs could be used to make it brighter?

ok. b4 every one starts tripping, lol!

They are fae plates that go over the original dials, they are use the stock dials to let the light through the number...

So they look at night like the stock ones, they are NOT EL paper dials.

They come n a sheet that you cut out the dials, then its just a matter of slipping them over the originals.

Doesnt take long at all, no need to remove the needles.

I have had them using the normal globes in the dash, and didnt have a problem, but i go into alot of light shows, so i have tricked it all up with LED. but what you want is up to you.

Yes N1GTR, they do come with the smaller GTR dials

If you want to go leds, you can get them from auto barn, or other auto shops, the make them to fit into existing holes .

I can get them from cyberstork, but you can get them anywere!

I dont have any pics of the R34 at night but it will light up the same as all the rest.

I will wait for the deal to end then who ever has deposited the money will get the dials. At the end...

So get in fast.

I will take a pic of my mates R33 with its lights on, cause i got him a set ages ago, and he still has the stock lights!

They come for the NA skylines as well,

thanks kezza

kezza, pm me your bank details and I'll grab one for an R32 GTS4 (HNR32).

you guys can check out the old thread I made on these last year for more pics and details of installs...

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=88988

that group buy never happened due to the lack of response, and also because the custom logo placement doubled the covers' price.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
