I've had the SDU PDF book for quite a while and it has been a useful reference up and as far as it's more a "32" reference than a 33 or 34 tome.

Do we have the capability to come up with a Australian based guide to the Skyline?

Here's the SDU book for reference:

Go get 'em boys & girls.... the wait is over

http://www.jpnz.co.nz/manuals.html

BTW, I have a full set of papers and I mean FULL. Things like owners manual (R33), dealer warranty card, RWC, rego papers, Rego label (unpeeled), Puretron manual, service book with all coupons, about 30 or 40 receipts for everything but fuel, stickers (unpeeled), etc, etc all in the original plastic gatefold complete with the Dealers business card & photo ! the dealership was Nissan Prince in ***uoka (Kyushu).

I'm led to believe that it's ultra-rare to get all papers with Jap imports - True or False ?

Is there anyone in these forums who can translate written nihongo ??? I can scan and email any of this for anyone who can assist.

I would be more than happy to share this treasure trove with all who are intersted if we can get it translated....

LOL fu-ku.....

I got the owners manual, service manaul, service history and a few other things with mine.

Most the stuff is in japanesse and probably says something like "this car is crap and is going to blow up soon. I'm going to sell it to some stupid Australian bloke"

:bonk: :bonk:

i got most of the documentation too... since mine was jus an average family car (in some way or other) I got the registration and derego paperwork and full service manuals, and even manuals for the aftermarket exhaust and other mods that were done to it. Oh and a membership card to some Nippon holiday cruise club or sumfin... and also the stickers n stuff including the Japanese Automotive Federation or sumfin, which I think is like the NRMA over there... oh and my flare!!!

Jamezilla: how much did it set you back [if you dont mind me asking]? How many pages in it?

I know they are advertised at around $50 but isnt that in NZ dollars? Then of course freight would also need to be added for shipping to here...?

Cheers!

JPNZ has two manuals available. The Owners manual (which I have purchased) is your basic manual which would come with any new car - basic operation car, radio, lights, brakes, bits and pieces, location of jack blah blah blah. The other manual available is the Engine Service manual (500+ pages and just about enough info to remove and install an engine.

BE WARNED - I have looked extensively into the legal side of this and any copying of any manual and distribution of it (even if it is a JPNZ manual from New Zealand) is completely ILLEGAL. The fines if caught with or distributing an illegal copy are just not worth it. I think that NZD$250 or AUD$225 for an engine manual as rare as the R33 is a bargain.

This has been discussed before on the SDU/SAU forums and a thread has been closed by a moderator due to continued discussion of copying of manuals.

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
