would usually get my cousin to help me as she speaks/writes/reads jap and has all the internet browsing gear etc

but her severe mental illness has finally seen her admitted to an institution for assistance

so

im out of luck

http://cwaweb.bai.ne.jp/~kgc10/

basically, 7th meistrer are the crem de la crem of r31s in japan. they have the most done up, most modified r31s

i have tried posting on the bbs before and emailing, but obviously using english doesnt help hehe

i have one question

where can i get widebody kit for hr31 from?

hr31.jpg

the calsonic racing hr31 has the widebody kit i am after. i believe it is called gt200 or gt300 kit.

all in all, pumped rear guards, pumped front guards, wide sideskirts and possibly rear and front bumper

i would be most appreciative if anyone over in jp could assist me in asking these seventhmeister guys if they know if and where the kit can be purchased from

i am aware it will most probably cost a bomb but thats alright

any help would be much appreciated

thanks in advance, mark

I'll do it.

But will you actually pay 'a bomb' for this kit if it's available, or is it just so you can write it off in your mind as something not worth doing? If it's the latter I can tell you now it's not worth doing... probably why all wide 7th Meister cars run cheap overfender extentions.

cheers justin.

as this car is now a sit-in-garage-for-12-mths-while-i-accumulate-parts-for-it sorta thing i am happy to blow money on things

that said, if kit does exist, will be interesting to see just how much it costs

im guessing 4k

The mails been sent, but no answer as yet... seriously don't you think it's weird that none of the 7th Meister cars run the kit? I thought they out of anyone (even R31 House) would have at least one demo car with it.

Yeah sorry no response. I didn't know how long to wait? But 2 weeks should just about do it.

Ages ago I had a photo of an R31 Autech Version with that kit on (probably a copy) so I think they did exist. I think I actually posted it up at R31 Skylines club... but oddly enough most people bagged it out? It was a few years ago now.

    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
