ahh no way!!! just looking through this thread now and realized that the meeting point near TTP is RIGHT near my house. i'm talking a 2 minute walk :P

if i had seen it sooner i woulda come...despite most probably getting laughed at in my EA :P

hey guys i think that that was an awsome cruze. had heeps of fun. Nice day for it and an heeps good turn out. was good on those long open roads :P Cant wait for the next one. i drove straight past that cop and i was doin bout 120 and he didnt stop me. i was a bit worried but then he didnt do anything.

All up great cruze.

awesome cruise guys, really enjoyed myself. I love the twisty stuff! anyone else have a power fc? Just wondering cause my temp reached 105degrees (never got that high before) and was just curious if anyone elses car got that hot?

To the guys with the vids just be careful, don't want any of you guys getting in trouble with you know who.

I have some pics and also some vids of the drags on main nth road. Will post the pics on the weekend when i'm at the old's house with their broadband cause dial up takes way too long! Don't think i will post the vids though!

Can't wait for the next one guys, keep it in the hills i say, you can't beat a skyline on a nice afternoon revving hard.

The drags were interesting, still getting used to my rev limiter being at 6300rpm instead of 7500rpm.

notice he said the cop station was in the main street of

Gawler when we were in Nuri LOL

i thought the part with drawing attention was funny :P

damn double post- can a mod delete this post, thanks

LOL and the Cop shop is not even in Murray St in Gawler :P... well unless it moved since I took my licence test there many years ago hehe.

Excellent :P When do we get to see that clip? Got me waiting now. :P....actually, just found it, good work :P

On that clip was laughing a little, it was after i pulled out that he made the comments :P

I've got two clips of some nice fast furious action :P But i don't know how to remove the number plates so i won't put them up :)

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
