lol forthose that opted not to go to MoS personally i dont really likethe music. im a DnB girl through and through but i actually enjoyed myself. there wasenough room to dance and not get pushed over or trampled...

bought back a few memories when i started listening to electronic music.

i guess it helped when my mate was having his birthday there we had the presidential suite and grand chancellor and everthing was paid for me and my best mate lol...

had a few people come back to the hotel with us from the metro's gig. pitty about the tickets. but when you put that many high end acts together expect either over selling or someone trying to profit from people...

but for a gig you wouldnt see me at normally i had fun.

Spewing this was on the same night as Pendulum

Can't wait for MOS Sessions Tour

Electro in conjunction with inthemix.com.au and Loaded Dice present the MOS Sessions Tour.

This is seriously one of the most solid lineups we have ever seen grace the west coast of Australia. Unless you are living under a rock, you are familiar with the name Ministry of Sound, Sessions and the sponsors, Loaded Dice and inthemix and know what to expect when you attend an event like this!

This is one event you cannot miss! Over 3 venues, party all night with the likes of James Zabiela, Grandmaster Flash and more!

JAMES ZABIELA

James' career so far has been stratospheric to say the least. After winning Muzik Magazine's Bedroom Bedlam competition with a string of well-placed mix tapes in 2000, he went on to win the award for Best Bedroom Bedlam DJ at The Muzik Awards one year later. Swiftly snapped up by Sasha's Excession agency, Zabiela spent most of 2001 touring Eastern Europe, Australia, South America and the US of A ("more fanatical than anywhere else in the world") while still finding time to record well-received CDs for Groovetech, Hooj and unleash a string of fine remixes along the way.

Royksopp, Virgin Souls and End Recordings artist Dave Breannan have all been under the Zabiela scalpel - and more are on their way.

Still only 24, still pushing the envelope and still learning to cope with a real-life fanbase and life on the other side of the record counter, its unlikely that James Zabiela will be taking a breather anytime soon. There are further late niteries like Tribal Sessions and The End to entertain and regular slots in Romania and Budapest to attend to. (I get to play whatever I want," he smiles). On a recent trip to Australia he played a five hour set in front of 3,000 screaming punters at The Art House in Sydney. No wonder Sasha refers to James as the guv'nor, This is just the beginning.

GRANDMASTER FLASH

During hip-hop’s nearly 30-year history, few names have become as well known to music lovers across the globe as that of Grandmaster Flash. Not only is he responsible for inventing the musical genre called Hip Hop but his pioneering use of the turntables make him The First DJ to play the Turntables as a Musical Instrument thus helping to elevate the status of the DJ to a masterful, artistic position. He is also responsible for assembling one of the earliest and greatest rap groups of all time – The Furious Five – these are some of the hallmarks of a career which has extended from the Bronx in the early 1970s to all corners of the globe into the 21st century.

In recognition of his role in music history, Flash has been invited to contribute artifacts to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio and the Experience Music Project in Seattle, WA. Among his many awards are the Pioneer Award from Source magazine, the New Music Seminar Hall of Fame Award, the DMC Hall of Fame Award and B.E.T.’s Diamond Award. In June 2004, he was inducted into the Bronx Walk of Fame with a plaque dedicated at 161st St. and the Grand Concourse, and a street named after him in New York City.

HERNAN CATTANEO

Following a 2004 world tour to promote the aforementioned Masters album including gigs in the best European clubs, five tours around the USA and three around Asia, a busy Ibiza season playing all the most relevant clubs (including the Renaissance Opening Party at Pacha with Sasha), another summer on the major Festival circuit –including among others Creamfields Liverpool and Buenos Aires, Homelands, Global Gathering, Festimad and Skol Beats-, he finally crashed into the 2004 DJ Mag Top 10 DJs with a bang, landing at # 6.

With the 'Vol.2' follow-up to his Masters scheduled for release in February, the juggernaut express that is Cattaneo shows no sign of slowing down…

James Zabiela, Hernan Cattaneo, Grand Master Flash, DJ Sneak, John '00' Fleming, Anne Savage, Koma & Bones, DJ Banban, Deadly Avenger, Goodwill

The Upbeats and Mish Mash

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
