I think you need to angle the cars a bit more and have them angled towards the bridge, and sort of cascaded..

also, lower your iso... and up the exposure a little.. its still too dark.

need a tripod :)

also, the panoramic shots wont come out well at all.. if your using a high exposure, even with or without a tripod your still going to get blur, the shutter speed is too slow for panoramic.

Was this a cruise/meet or something? :)

I would've come out for a bit (depending on what time... idn't finish work tilll 9.30)

I'd be up... I've got an R31 GTS-R, the boys at Ice have seen it.

Not bad for what it is... and what i paid :D

If you do meet another time... let me know dudes

I might not be able to come all the time but i will try :)

ex. i did a panoramic at the last one with a long shutter speed and they came out fine... no blur because it merely takes a normal picture then stitches them together.

i only set the shutter for about 5 seconds... was going to take more with diff settings but it rained... so as stated will have to have another go to do it properly with more time. munky can do it this time sometime earlier than midnight as ppl dont seem to like the darkness.... seems a bit ghey having it light as the stove tops dont stand out as much.

i thoguht youse would have been glad i wasn't there since I don't really do much to start with :)

hehe you def need to lower the iso and up the exposure time, nark trust, i tested them ixus's man, they jus dun have the necessary exposure times we need. What you need is a Canon G1 or G2 or G3 sumfin like that its not an SLR but its a kickyoasswithmahfoot digital that lets u control all the parameters...

another thing nark that pic you made is only 72 dpi roughly eqivalent to about a printout that will come out to be 1/4th that size. The LOWEST print quality you can use is 300dpi means your image needs to be 1020 by 660 pixels MINIMUM to make a decent quality printout.

And you left out the most important part... I TURNED UP when you guys called me and told me, only to see youse take off on me, i said hi and the next thing i see was 3 cars takin off... thought u'se were goin to a new location or sumfin, and when i got to the top of the road i figured that you were goin home.

Anyways, I'll work on gettin a G2 or sumfin of that sort for a proper shoot, or even an SLR. The time of day is good and the fact that we have a street lamp is good too coz it maps out the contours, now all you need is to get the xposure right. Maybe we should attempt a sunset pic, see how that looks.

    • UPDATE: Yes the GSP Axles are compatible. I installed it on my R34 today and they are working a treat! Turns out that the S13, S14, S15, and 200 SX all used the same axles as the HR34, and ER34 NA models. Which is 2 bolt x 3 pairs.
    • Also build this EH ute with 370z motor and gearbox with a couple of turbos just for fun.
    • Got the passenger door on plus the master cylinder and booster. Loaded up to take it home. At home, the colour changes a lot in the light.
    • Nothing cheap, but I have seen the AC Hydraulic DK13HLQ which is pretty close to what you're asking for. The problem is the hydraulic cylinder mandates that the back of the jack be a certain height and Skylines have fairly deep inset floor jack points. A more certain and cheap option is to get some nominal 2x10 inch lumber boards and have one board be 1.5 feet, the other board 3 feet. Glue it all together with lots of clamps to maintain pressure. Make two of these. The ramp suggested above is a good idea, it takes quite a bit of clutch slip to get over each of the boards. I only need the first ~1.5 inches for my low profile jack on a standard ride height car but a lowered car you want to go up to the full ~3-3.5 inches. Paint it or store indoors if you want it to last.
    • Ok. And Nistune? I read (here too) mainly on Stagea threads that it can by "turn off" with Nistune. But they say they still had the sensor plug in. Next week iam going to the Nistune(and other ECUs) tuner so i can finally make it work. I drove the car home and apart from the cut it drove great. No misfire no smoke no hesitation or rough start...so hoping it is this sensor that is missing
