No! they don't look like Magnas! James!

I guarantee I get more looks at my ride than you 2 door owners! And of course they are checking me out also!

Look we all know that you're all jealous, and are using excuses to make other 2 door owners think that you're cool and would bend over for anything! even warm beer!

Yas, when I went to Italy they had to especially put the beer in the fridge cause they knew I was coming!

Pulp champ yours is nice il admit that and how many beers did they put in the fridge 4 you

and do they look and think thats a trick looking magna

4 doors = solf = 1 to 3 light beers tops

james

Yeah ppl look and say "Gee I wonder what kit he put on that Magna?"

Not many beers, cause they drink alot more wine, which is fine by me, home made wine's real good!

4dr skylines are for connoisseurs, they are a cleverly tailored machine designed to cover all aspects of performance, styling, practiability and value for money without attempting to copy the GTR (like the homosexual 2dr does)

Goddam that looks like poop man, I say weld the rear doors up and bog over them - it'll be your only saving grace :)

unfortunately u dont have a saving grace for your shtr 2dr coupe, perhaps a bucket of paint stripper may save it from 2dr embarrassment ;)

Like moths to the flame.

Clearly 4 doors is not enough for some, these same 4 door people secretly lament that there is no 5 door skyline (ie: 4 doors + hatchback). This 5th door is reffered to as a 'backdoor', that is what these people clearly are after.

It's like they NEED doors on a car, when we all know they are nothing but a hinderence placed there by our nanny state for people ,who like little children, are frightened easily and usually can't drive. They wreck it for the rest of us who have the common sense not to fall out of a moving car by holding on. You have a seat belt what else do you need?

Perhaps thats why Nissan didn't release any 4 door RB26 powered sedans. They knew their market for the 4 doors was wimps who would be afraid of the extra power.

I say start with burning 4 door skylines, then the rear seats in 2 door skylines and finish by throwing away all car doors!

as a matter of fact there was the factory built Autech R33 GTR 4WD sedan powered by a RB26DETT, ATTESSA and all the usual GTR stuff. These are a rare breed, unlike the common 2dr variant....

look at it this way, i get more looks in my 4 dr skyline than any of you 2 door freaks out there and the best thing about 4 doors is when ya finished drivin a 2 dr numbskull around for a joy ride in the back seat, you can snap the back around and flick him out the rear doors and keep going with even pullin up.....LOL....

LIKE I SAY IF IT WASNT FOR THE 4 DR PRINCE SKYLINE GT........ NONE OF YOU 2DR NIMRODS WOULD HAVE A SKYLINE......

ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY 4 DRS!!!

Hahahaha...

I mean, I was just saying something previously for the 4 doors to take the piss outta Kym, but your comments above take the cake..

More looks? Cause that's what you bought your car for eh?

Poofta... :D

:P

As a matter of fact the factory of 'Autech' is not a real factory but, more of a workshop and they are not 'Nissan' or a division of that company.

They are also a rare breed because they are crap compared to the R33 GTR, in fact I seem to recall a number of them 'rusting away' somewhere because people didn't want to buy them.

    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
    • OK, if it idles at 1000+ with the AAC, its not an idle airflow problem. The cold start valve just gives extra air when the engine is cold, but you have enough air without it to idle at 1000. I think you are back to a fuel problem, sorry. Can you see the fuel pressure staying constant or does it drop as the revs drop to a stall?
