These illuminated panels were actually a Nissan factory option. there is a thread floating around somewhere here with all of the options that were available for the skyline and the illuminated panels were one of them. Good luck actually trying to source one for your car though, as im pretty sure people who have got it arent that willing to part with it (unless you gave them some silly amount of money for it). Call Just Jap or an imports part supplier and ask if they may have any lying around. Ive seen one on this Japanese parts site called Up Garage. couldnt read it though cos it was in Japanese.

with that rear panel, :P

if you can find a S1 rear panel cheap.. all you do is hook up 14 red LED's (hi brights) inside the rear panel ( 4bolts through boot) and hook them up to a resister and then connect to the brake lines ..

then you spray paint the rear panel, and rub off the paint on the raised letters ..

Thanks guys :P

Where's the Up Garage site?

I thought they were just a warehouse type store... didn't know they had a site?

go to www.upgarage.com

Like i said, its in Japanese. I was just randomly clicking on icons then it showed stuff for Skylines and the illuminated panel was with all the other stuff. If you really want one why dont you go to the main thread called 'Japan' and ask one of the guys/gals working in Japan to get it for ya. Of course they may ask for a comission fee which is quite reasonable.
