theres something about putting a $10,000 engine into a $1000 car that has never appealled to me ???

thats pretty intense putting a 26/30 into a c210 man cost alot of money like $20,000 i'd say unless you can build the engine yourself and do all the work yourself coz you gotto remember with power like that them brakes wont do and need a better diff and stuff i think its crazy might aswell buy a gtr for that price thats a huge project if you go ahead with it that my two cents but its your prerogative to do whatever ya want though

Thought I'd add my bit.

ATM Im having loads of fun with a twin-carb, mild head-and-cammed L26 in my C210, but as the others pointed out, upgrading the brakes, suspension and drivetrain was my first priority. At this point, If I had a couple of grand I would invest in triple carbs and nothing else. The car can fry tyres as is, cant imagine the handful it would be with triples. While the work so far has set me back a few grand, it is far less than the estimates for the RB conversion.
