Howdy pplz,

I've got an R33 S1 '93.

According to the stamp on the Timing Cover it was changed in '98(cant remember now) and stamped 70,000km. My car has just ticked ova the 100,000 km...

My delemma:

Well seeing as everyone already knows that u cant trust the current km on the clock im not sure exactly how much it has done since the last change.

Soooooo....

Just wondering whats the go in regards to taking off the timing belt cover so i can inspect the belt condition.

Is there anything i need to be carefull of such as the CAS going out of alignment???

Can anyone type up a quick run down of what to do....?

(I've got an idea...But not 100% sure) :

:starwars:

EDIT: I'll be getting the belt changed soon...Its just a question of how soon!!!

CAS is the only potential problem. Simply scribe a mark across both parts so you can reset the CAS when you put it back together.

Also, make sure the half-moon key is still in the end of the exh. camshaft to align the CAS with the cams correctly.
