There are no AE85 in Australia. The AE85s are only in Japan.

AE85 runs a single cam 1.5 litre carbi engine, and in Australia, they run a 1.6 single cam Carbi, known as the 4AC. The Chasis or VIN number in Aus only have AE86 at the front.

AE86 doesn't have to be pop-up lights, they pop-up lights are called Tureno, where the normal lights are called Levin. Levin can also be AE86.

Different specifications (model) of AE86 will have differnet gear coming with their cars, such as power windows or electric rear mirrior, sun roof ..etc. NOT ALL AE86 have LSD.

Anyway, you must have watched too much Cartoon......
