tdr
hey guys, i have just bought an r32 gtr skyline, and i gotta say it is an awesome car. I have one problem with it at the moment and i was hoping you could give me some ideas on it. When i drive the car with alot of traffic, the gears become harder and harder to get into gear without it crunching. If the car is just crusing it is all fine, but in traffic it gets really notchy. Now the clutch has been replaced and it engages really far down, as in you lift your foot approx 1cm and the clutch disengages. So what do you guys think it is? could it be the gearbox fluid, or the clutch adjustment. Any help would be great, thanks Todd Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/114171-sticky-gearbox/ Share on other sites

benm
Sounds like it could be either in need of fresh oil (gearbox) or getting the entire clutch system bled. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/114171-sticky-gearbox/#findComment-2104474 Share on other sites
ZigenGT
Yeah could be the gearbox oil, sometimes the oil might be too thin or thick. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/114171-sticky-gearbox/#findComment-2104547 Share on other sites
