Front susp bushes

My front end over the last 3 weeks has become very squeaky, a little like my old Valiant. So off to susp place to get it all checked out and a quick wheel alignment.

Now i thought the squeak was only going to be the 14 month old Whiteline bushesc needing a bit of oil, imagine my surprise when the front end bushes turned out to be deteriorating, looking as though they have swollen, (a chemical reaction to something)????

About January i gave one of them a spray with Nulon silicon spray, but this doesnt explain the state of the other bushes.

Anyone had any similar experiences, what is the expected lifespan for nolathane (or other brand) bushes.

.. well at least my car will hopefully handle a bit better this weekend

how much does the replacement cost? cos mine are wrecked as well and should really be replaced

Well 2nd time round im trying another brand, for all 8 bushes its going to cost $340. I think that is substantially more then the Whiteline ones (from memory). This does not include castor rods etc.

I dont think the fault is with the Whiteline product, my experience with them in the past has been great. When i gwt the damaged bushes back i will definitely look into cause. Who knows it could be the fact that i ride the ripple strip pretty hard and is just wear and tear.
