hi peoples im new..

the body kit on the r34 is a bomex style body kit.. im seraching for the same body kit(have any idea where i can get it and the cost?).. and also searching for some fenders and hoods?

It's not Bomex, this is Bomex:

Yeah its definately not a Bomex, like dark said its a gtr kit for a gtt. Try carmate if you want a bomex kit got price on the site so you can esitmate how much itll set you back. I prefer the gtr kit over the bomex makes the front look tough but not overdone.

ive seen a few bodies like this. its also on the HKS RB28 GTR found issue 59 of High performance imports

its an east bear gtt kit, the bonnet looks to be the east bear carbon fibre one which looks like the gtr one except fitting gtt hinges and latch. $1500 from power play.

front bar again is an east bear item which looks like the gtr bumper but designed to blend with gtt's narrower guards.

east bear lower lip is around $500 from power play.

not sure of those side skirts dont think east bear makes them.

Yup definately not a Bomex..I have been looking at this kit as well and found this in Japan:

Was quoted around $1500 landed in OZ! probably still cheaper than the East Bear Kit that powerplay are selling...

is that $1500 landed for just that front bar or a complete kit? im guessing just the front bar but wanted to make sure

OK to clarify a few points. The Front Bar on that car is not an East Bear item. East Bear make the OEM GTR Front Bar. The bar on that car is a NISMO GTR Bar. As you will see in the images below, I have highlighted the areas of the NISMO bar which differentiate it from the OEM one.

OEM GTR Bar

NISMO GTR bar

Now as you will see, the bar on the Black GTT is the same as the NISMO Bar. I don't know how they managed to fit it but I can only imagine that it was either copied or modified to fit. The bonnet is either an East Bear item or a Chinese/Taiwanese one however it isnt clear.

The side skirts also look like factory GTR skirts with the NISMO Under Skirt add on's fitted. There is a GTR rear wing there too so I imagine that someone has spent A LOT of money buying genuine GTR and NISMO GTR parts and modifying them to fit the GTT.

  • 2 weeks later...

i have the East Bear gtr bar on my GTT - will post pics when i get home. Yes, as tosh pointed out, it's not the one East Bear sells... and looks like the person has squeezed on a genuine Nismo one... guards don't really match too well

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
