GT3040R with .82 A/R on RB25 with mild Apexi hydraulic cams, big AFM, 550 injectors, stock throttle body arrangement, big FMIC, Power FC, fuel pump, rod bolts, 1.8 mm head gasket. What sort of flywheel BHP will this turbo efficiently support on cast iron HKS remote wastegate manifold? At the moment I am running 460 BHP at flywheel on Apexi cast iron single turbo, remote wastegate manifold with IHI RX-6 turbo (old Apexi RB25 kit). Will this be good for a bit more top end air fleo, yet still spool OK? Cheers.

This BHP thing of you Pomps always confused me.

Whats that in RWHP or RWKW :unsure:

You can get approx 300rwkw (give or take) from the GT30.

It all depends on the spec mate.

If you search around you'll find there are many many many variants and you gotta be careful in your selection

think SK mentioned about 60kw lost in the drivetrain.. so thats 80HP ..

460BHP -80hp = 380rwhp

380rwhp is 283 rwkw ..

the 0.82 is a garret version, but yeah guess they have different compressor wheel trims etc

bhp is different to hp

1kw = approx 1.357bhp = 1.34hp :unsure: nothing important though

About 280 KW at the back wheels.

i thought that generally 1lb of flow equals about 10 horsies...so if it flows about 65lbs then that would equate to roughly 650 hp... so wouldnt that be off in saying its rated at 550 but flows 65lbs? Or is it the compressor can flow that much, but the exhaust side restricts to that 550hp rating? Im guessing the latter question answer my original one?

well just by looking at the extra 50hp rating with the only thing changing is the exhaust housing to the 1.06 AR

so yes the compressor is stated to flow 65lbs, regardless of the rear housing, but power will be affected by flow restrictions in the exhaust housing.
