new ecu, new turbo (hi flowed or better), cooler, afm, and injectors to be safe. and check your fuel pump, if dodgy could pose a problem.around 8-10 grand will get you these sort of numbers mate.

Hi YTS,

We have an R32GTS4 ourselves with the same power goal in mind.

To date it has developed 176AWKW.

Check out www.turboclub.com for info on the car.

We still have the standard ECU with remapping initially done by Martin Donnan and recently by Dr.Drift in Melbourne.

Cheers

cheers thats cool wat setup are you using and still on stock turbo or aftermarket.. and to other its all well and good i know the price ranges of what it will cost me i am more looking for specific proven results from parts.. cheers

I'm interested too, My R32 GTS-4 is on it's way from japan, and it's 100% stock. I'm looking at a more modest initial goal of 170 KW at all four, and am thinking that a pod, turbo back exhaust, and a new turbo should do it for about $3-4K. Eventually I'd be looking at the supporting mods, fuel pump, oil cooler, brakes, coilovers, etc.

If any other GTS-4ers have any hints or tips, I'd be incredibly appreciative. It's the first car I've really gotten excited about in a while, well, since I got my first car 10 years ago anyway.

Hey just to let you know welcome to the skyline world where modifying your car depends of how deep your pocket is. Dont worry thats what i have learnt, power isnt cheap.

Im also from Penrith, Emu Plains area actually. Drop me a pm if you need any help with mods.

not trying to steal the thread but anyone know where i can get aquariuz6 front bar? i know its a gtr front but i only can find the ones with the squares.

btw Nice ride man.

Yo if u are talking about the one in the picture that would be my front bar and as u said before u were only able to get a gtr front becasue my car is a gts4 it is a gts4 front bar which makes it slightly different from a gtr

if you want to know where you can get one start a new thread with a pic and someone will help... as for the original question - Front Mount with gtr style piping not back to original piping, bigger turbo ( T3/T4 ), rx7 injectors, ecu remap or full power fc. really depends how much $$ you want to put into it. i want to get a RB30/26 project happening but yeah bought a house.

cheers mate.. what are you runnin in ur gts4..

pretty std but have front mount, BOV, POD, untuned SAFC, 3" turbo back exhaust. waiting for some more funds to upgrade turbo and have some fun with that for awhile... by the way 4WD is much more fun

How much did those mods cost you? and what type of exhaust?

exhaust was done from the exhaust shop, bov i bought came with the adapter, intercooler was about $400 piping i did myself all up probably $1500. not really heaps

yo if you did the piping urself does that mean that if i got the front mount u could do the piping for me..

  • 3 weeks later...

For 250 awkw on a GTS4 you will need the following:

- 040 Pump

- Pon or Step 1 cams

- Z32 AFM

- Full exhaust system 3 inch from turbo back

- FMIC ( I recommend PWR for an almost direct bolt up )

- NEW Turbo ( highflow will not achieve the desired result ) - something rated at around 400hp or more

I also recommend a forged piston rebuild for durability but that's entirely up to you. Stock engine should be ok up to 280rwkw as long as the head gasket is perfect and you install an oil cooler of some sort.

    • I know I have to get a wheel alignment but until then I just need to bring the rear tyres in a bit they're wearing to the belt on the inside and brand new on the outside edge. I did shorten the arms a bit but got it wrong now after a few klms the Slip and VDC lights come on. I'd just like to get it to a point where I can drive for another week or two before getting an alignment. I've had to pay a lot of other stuff recently so doing it myself is my only option
    • You just need a wheel alignment after, so just set them to the same as current and drive to the shop. As there are 2 upper links it may also be worth adding adjustable upper front links at the same time; these reduce bump steer when you move the camber (note that setting those correctly takes a lot longer as you have to recheck the camber at each length of the toe arm, through a range of movement, so you could just ignore that unless the handling becomes unpredictable)
    • I got adjustable after market rear camber arm to replace the stock one's because got sick of having to buy new rear tyres every few months. Can anyone please let me know what the best adjustment length would be. I don't have the old ones anymore to get measurements. I'm guessing the stock measurement minus a few mm would do it. Please any help on replacing them would be fantastic I've watched the YouTube clips but no-one talks about how long to set the camber arm to.
    • Heh. I copied the link to the video direct, instead of the thread I mentioned. But the video is the main value content anyway. Otherwise, yes, in Europe, surely you'd be expected to buy local. Being whichever flavour of Michelin, Continental or Pirelli suits your usage model.
    • Continental have consistently beaten the absolute shit out of every other performance tyre in Wet/Damp/Cold conditions and give up a little bit of time (half a second at most) in the dry. Almost like it's engineered for German conditions or something. I'd def give those a try.
