Poor Danny tried his heart out but couldnt land a punch mundine was just to quick but a great effort by green you kept punching hard right to the end. Damn I hate mundine

I'm no mundine fan by any stretch, but he obviously was the better boxer on the night.

He landed more jabs, but he never hurt Green (though Green never hurt him either.) but that is why it's boxing, not fighting.

Mundine is a superb athlete, it's too bad he's too stupid to realise he's not Ali. He can't rhyme like him, though he tries, he can't move like him, though he want's to, and he can't rope-a-dope Green (though Green is no young George Foreman)

And also, if he's muslim, why does he cross himself at the start of the fight?

The fight itself was a little let down. Mundine had a wide stance to jump back all the time, but in the end he just planned better for the fight, and Green had no way to counter. Power to him.

i still hope that we see a rematch, but with green at 33, it's really unlikely.

Still, to those that saw the undercard, how about that guy on earlier that was 0 from 4 with the bloke in his corner with "VB" on his beer gut. He's a genius if ever I saw one :D

some of the best fights were a bit earlier on. a filipino guy who drew with an aussie was a pretty good hard fight.

Well, if nothing else, it got people talking about boxing again.

yeah talking about it and actually being interested is defferent, mostly how much people hate mundine. The thing is the majority don't care what Mundine does now where as if Green had won most would be eager for his next fight.

I cant get over that Aboriginal bloke at the end of the fight, hugging mundine, pissed off his head, i think he was trying to stick his finger up at the camera but stuck the wrong finger up :P

Hey Allblitz, just an aside, but I've been wondering what the Australian Muslim community thinks of Mundine, and your sig made me think you might have some knowledge.

From an outsiders perspective, it seems that Mundine just picked it because Ali did. He still crosses himself before a fight for crying out loud. Also when he talks about 'his people' we never seem to know wether he's talking about his fans, his religion or his race. Having said that, I've never met the bloke, so for all I know he could be reading the Koran right now.

Kozeyekan, he never crosses himself before a fight. Last nights fight he went to the corner and raised his hands (prayer). I dont know much about him as a Muslim, only from what I hear from the media. In Islam, we cannot judge him as we do not know whats in his heart regarding his beliefs. However, his outward actions are definately not what a Muslim should be doing. Having said that, he is only a new Muslim, so I guess all things take time, but i pretty much see what you see :P

No worries, I was just curious.

Personally, I think he'd tie a pink ribbon around his nose if he heard Ali did it, but like you, all I see is the media portrayal, he might be highly pious in his own home..... though I very much doubt it.

Still, winners are grinners and losers can please themselves.

    • How would you even adjust the clutch if the pedal already has the correct free play? The operating cylinder has no adjustment in mounting position or rod length. On pull style clutches there is also no ability to adjust the bearing carrier. Push type I can see how adjusting the carrier height makes it all work.   If this is the twin plate clutch did you verify that your friction disks were oriented correctly? It's not mentioned in the directions at all you just have to notice that one side the friction disks have a part number on the hub fingers and a subtle coning to those fingers. Another thing that I noticed was if you put the friction disks in backwards the pressure plate fingers will not be even and flat when the clutch is installed.
    • yeah, mechanically, it is probably do-able, off the top of my head, there would be the transfer case, which I believe will bolt up to the rear of the RWD transmission, the shorter rear tail shaft. A front drive shaft, front diff, engine upper sump, front drive shafts, front hubs and front AWD struts (they are shaped around the front drive shafts), LCAs (at the very least from the front suspension) oil cooler.  You might want the rear diff from an AWD too, so you can be certain the front and rear diff rations are identical.  Who knows what brackets and mounts you might need.  So a whole doner car might be the best option if you need to maintain RHD. Then actually making it work, that would be a whole different story.
