like me i got a nasty email from some mitsubishi club president when i bagged there crappy rice mobiles when joe invited them on a cruise hehe

HAHAHAHA!! what did you say? How funny!! wasa the GTR guy in the mitsubishi group? He might be the pack leader.... :bahaha:

Joe just get a fully shick excel with wicked big spoiler kit and turbo exhaust sounding extension.... FULLY SHICK MATE!!!... joe my dad had the previous model magna as a company car.. was absolutely terrible!!!! the newer ones i have driven and feel ok but having that terrible car for such a long time has made me anti mitsubishi, i lke the evo's and think they are fast and all but it still wears the mitsubishi badge which i am not fond of, i know when bad apple shouldnt spoil the bunch, but not when the apple is worth $30,000!!!!!

Lay off the mitsi riceburners people! come on!

Some of the guys that drive the "fully schick excels" with 3 foot wings have actually spent a lot of heard earned jack on thier cars! so they're more into the ICE scene.. (that's In-Car-entertainment) and we're into going fast.

Take a look at the two perth hyundai excel's that got featured in magazines, cover shoots and everything.

Each to thier own.

and as for inviting another club to a cruise, it DOESNT mean we can insult them!!

lay off them already.

they probably didnt come coz of the ppl here that insulted them.

Look what happened to the commo car club & sau cruise.

once AGAIN we are making a bad name for OURSELVES!!!!

FFS people!

I agree whit what your saying strich9nine, some people like sound more than speed, but when i see an excel with one of those exhaust extensions to make it sound like it is turbo charged i feel that these people should be put in the same category as the Mitsi magna driver with GTR badges.

Also if they are more into In car entertainment then how come they have enough wings and spoilers on it to sink a ship. some of them really over do it and don't realise that they are spending all this money on making there cars in someway look more aggresive or faster or sportier when they have done nothing to the engine. now at the last auto salon i saw a yellow hyundai excel inthe motorkhana, i went up to him and said why is this in the motorkhana? he said it was turbo charged. Now most people would say what a waste of money, however i then felt that it justified his situation and i was generally ineterested in the mods he had done, and respected the fact that he had actually spent money on performance, well done i thought, it was a yellow excel

Now I'm not teasing ricers, however if you saw a chick with a sweeet rack and you were completely drooling over her assets and she said come home with me, there you are lying on the bed she takes off her top and tissues fall out everywhere to reveal she had no breasts wouldn't you think how fake! she just tried to make herself look great when underneath it was nothing... get my drift...

each to their own Kim i agree but some people really can't be taken seriously!

hmmm - obviously there's some history here that I'm yet to find out about... no real offence meant to anyone - was just poking fun...

as for what Strich9ine said about developing a bad name at cruises - I don't know anything about it - but all the same, probably not a good idea..

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
