or i could just buy bigger turbo's

looking into it after chrissy so many choices.. hks gtrs's look good

GTRS's with std capacity is laaaaaaaaaaaaagy...u said u dont want to go crazy and want drivability, so why not some 2530's? they're still capable of 600hp too

Hell yeah they are awesome (I am looking at getting one for my car) they are damn expensive but!

bout $3500 for a kit for my car.. or the trust618z's i dunno yet both are preety decent upgrades

so if i was to produce less power then wat im producing now. could that mean i could turn the injectors percentage down meanin i wouldnt have to use as much fuel cause im not puttin out as much power?

you can turn the fuel back....then you would need to run less advanced timing to avoid pinging and the end result would be less fuel and less power

A trick I use on long trips is go to the ign/inj option on the settings menu, retard the timing by a degree and bting the injector duty back a few percent, as long as you are not flooring it this works fine (Keep an eye on the knock) and it got me an extra 150km per tank on the highway, Every time the car is switched off it returns to the preset mapping too so it is all good

apparently the little trust ones offer the best response, I was reading that in a recent HPI

went for a drive in a 33 gtr standard capacity with gtrs's with a bag full of other mods too, lag isn't that bad hey.. it makes 400awkw's on matty's dyno. guess its just a matter of tuning hey.

yeh i was going to say if u alter the inj or ign settings with the handcontroller they reset everytime u turn the car off

hrmm

very interesting!

will need ya to show me this when i come around to do that avcr swap with ya if u want?

yeah I will show you

That is the good thing because that way you dont forget you had the car on POV tune then go out and thrash it and kill somthing, If you alter them in the seperate windows they will save but if you do the one where it is a change over the whole map it wont

yeah I will show you

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
