Andy.....

Got the AVC-R last night and shane and I installed it. Not a problem at all with it. Sorta kept some of the same functions it already had just to see how it'll perform compared to my maps and felt alot better with no spiking either.

I'll bring the black one around tonight after I been to Dan's place. Should be there about 7 or a bit earlier

SO the maps that were on there were still there despite the fact it was uninstalled? I thought they wouldnt have saved! Hmm I should have noted them down so I can save some time when it goes on the R33!

On my car it used to spike a little but not much maybe 2-3psi

Cool no worries I will be there, see you then

See if you can get Neil (TeamKrazy) to set it for you, he is the AVC-R guru.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
